Food is awesome.. this place is just a order and take out place there was about 30 people inside a small room piled inside waiting for there order . there are park style tables out side on the south side of the parking lot if you want to eat your food there while cars pour exhaust on you... There are no public restrooms ... this place needs a order and pick up window like dions pizza has .

Red chile tamales are amazing. I could only eat half of the #3 fresh. My partner and I ate the rest as 6 day old, refrigerated leftovers and the flavors and food was still amazing. That’s an amazing feat for a restaurant to brag about.
I’d definitely go back again when visiting New Mexico.

Same old bullshit. I did a call in order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes.
Waited 25 minutes and it wasn’t ready so I left with no food or refund.
I would not go here. They do not know what customers service is.
If you can’t do what you say you are going to do don’t take the order or my money.

I can only judge the tamales bc I ordered 2 dozens frozen to bring back home to California. Definitely worth the money.. the meat was clean, not lots of fat chunks like other places and the chili had a little bit of a kick. I wish I brought 4 dozens back so I have something to unwrap on Christmas Eve. Service was great, the they took orders quite fast.. the atmosphere was a little tight.. lots of people bc who can blame them.. real authentic New Mexican food. I wish I would've taken a bag of chili home.. maybe next time.

Was on hold on the phone for 15min to order. Stayed on until I got there and they weren't that busy. Nobody ever answered but the cashiers were just standing around but not responding to the calls on hold.

I used to go there quite often when I was living here 35 years ago and it was amazing. Now I’m back and they’re still here with the same vibe and the same food that is still some of the best that New Mexico has. Service is a little rough but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. Good food for good prices. One of the best places to visit in Albuquerque for true.

I ordered a pint o menudo but it came with posolé. I returned to the counter and explained that I ordered menudo with out posolé. They said their menudo came with posolé. So I figured I would eat the menudo with the posolé but it only had four pieces of menudo. I returned to the counter and explained my disappointment. The manager was summoned and he offered to prepare another order and make sure it contained more menudo.
