My wife spotted this one day when we were eating at Dave's Valley Grill next door. It took a while as we kept forgetting about it. How I wish we had eaten here sooner! The food is fantastic, especially the Papusa! I had the bean and cheese stuffed papusa. It's flavorful without the heavy feeling of frijoles and the cheese is creamy. Be sure to add the cabbage and tomato to it. I recommend the Happy Plate as you can sample several items along with the Papusa such...
The family that runs this business do so with so much pride and grace! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and inexpensive. Even my picky eaters (kids) ask to go here!
Here’s my honest opinion when it comes Salvadoreño restaurants in Albuquerque. This restaurant is #1 when it comes to authentic, taste, freshness and value. The pupusa’s are huge and delicious no other compares. Restaurant El Salvadoreño On Bridge comes in #2. Gobble This is in far last at #3, but this is only because their food is way overpriced coming at $20 a plate for 1 pupusa. I would definitely recommend to not try Yarling’s Pupuseria as bad reviews for that restaurant...
