I was referred by a good friend and business owner like my self to come by and try Patrons lunch menu. I was told very impressive food was served and staff was amazing to serve to anyone that was willing to have a delicious plate of authentic New Mexican food served to them. I showed up with my good friend celebrating my grand opening of my new business of hvac and plumbing accompanied by her and two small well mannered dogs. We were sat down by a lovely and friendly waitress staff and was brought a basket of chips and salsa. Soon after we were ready to order our drinks; but I had left my ID in my service van and politely asked if I could go get my ID which she said yes. When I got back, the “ floor manager (Olivia with no name tag by the way) came to tell us saying she was uncomfortable serving us without any reason and asked us to leave. I begged that she tell me what was wrong as this was a HUGE embarrassment to me and my friend. She refused to explain and was more focused on supporting her prideful character knowing she was in the wrong. I am a honest contractor/business man local to New Mexico proud owner and she never gave me an explanation to why this happened. I am thankful there are things like camera footage yes, but when something like this happens….the only asset I have justified at my fingertips is the TRUTH and this review page! And I am honestly positive I did nothing wrong to deserve this treatment. This was an absolute mistake by the management and oblivion by ownership.

Got there waited at the door. The only server who appeared to be working told us to sit wherever (not many options cuz almost all tables were dirty). Found a spot- no one came to get drink orders or bring us a menu- or even acknowledged that we were there. A couple of other ppl came in they got greeted immediately and given menus. Waited a bit longer (I know how it is when you’re short handed), but overall experience on my first time there was not good. Left without eating.

First time to try El Patron North. Loved the warmed chips that came with the salsa. Huevos Rancheros were yummy and the red and green chile was the perfect heat...flavor without the burn. We will be back to try happy hour in the future.

My daughter brought me for my birthday. First time ever. I've been wanting to come for a long time. Food was delicious, waiter attentive, Margarita knocked me for a loop(in a good way!)! I was too busy eating that I didn't notice we were not given sopaipillas with our meal? I usually judge how good the food is by their sopaipillas!

We both had the Huevos Americano special. The eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes were fantastic. The red and green chili has a great flavor. The service is fast and very attentive. Highly recommend.

Surprised to see a handful of poor reviews. They may have some truth to them. However, going in for breakfast on Sunday morning, it was a great visit. The parking lot was almost full and the restaurant too. $7.99 breakfast specials is hard to beat. It is definitely a must. Food came out tasty and hot (stove hot and chili hot). Our waitress was good. Not very memorable but she did check on our party and made sure we were taken care of. Not a huge restaurant but they do have patio seating, which I'm excited to sit at!!

Decent New Mexican food that won't break your bank. A much better option to take out of town guests than the other over-hyped places. Our server was very friendly and kept our drink glasses full.

Very good food ... and warm, friendly service ... in a clean -- even in non-descript -- atmosphere.

We have picked up and dined in at this location for many years after they opened after Whataburger closed down. I always get the green enchiladas with chicken, as I have for years at the Wyoming location and before our family moved further west of the interstate.Driving home from work, I figured I’d pick up food then head home. Some delicious enchiladas will make me feel better! So I called in the order a few minutes out, still had their number saved in my phone. They were polite as always and I drove up to pick up my order for two green enchilada plates with chicken. Two meals…for lunch, was $39 and change. I’ve always loved their food ?. But $14.95 plus $2.95 for the chicken? Ouch! And still a Market Surcharge of 3% (I do remember an article about them adding this from 2yrs ago).I know how the economy is and I know the struggle of every restaurant…nevertheless also for the customers as this is a bit steep for us. I’ll be missing my favorite enchiladas, love you guys!
