Frank's Famous Chicken & Waffles

The food and service here are always excellent. I have enjoyed the fried okra, macaroni, and fried mushrooms on my numerous visits. Very good food, good options for vegetarians. Thanks so much, and may God bless you all.

This was a wonderful place and the only problem was I didn't get the meal I ordered but my husband had it for breakfast and lunch the next day. The greens were delicious!!

Had a great combo plate with wings and the special gravy. Sides were excellent. Especially the candied sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. Greens were good but a little salty to my taste. Wife had chicken and waffles. We both left happy.

I went to Frank’s chicken and waffles on Sunday. I can honestly say the food was very subpar. I didn’t care for the macaroni. The fried chicken was okay. The waffles were okay. The strawberry lemonade was good. The collard greens were pretty good. Especially with some Frank’s red hot. I wouldn’t go back. It was an okay meal but not worth returning.

Music is awesome, always. Food is delicious. My favorite is the chicken and waffles. Kool-aid, perfect 🎶🎵🎶🎵. Staff is so cool. Please try them if you're looking for good soul food and a great atmosphere.

Brought my wife here to experience what I have discovered to be the best soulfood place in albuquerque and was disappointed. As many times as I have patronized this establishment this by far was the worse. No one greets you when you walk in, the two servers continued to walk pass as if we are not there. The one last that normally is at the host stand was at the bar and when she notice she came and greeted and attempted to search us but it was going to be a 20mon wait. We decided to just order takeout instead we were directed to go to the bar, we literally waited 10 plus minutes without anyone coming to the bar to take our order. We decided to leave, since we were clearly being ignored (thats what it felt like). Many of my colleagues and I normally patronize this place weekly, we drive 45minutes for this food but today I left completely disappointed and pissed at the lack of service I received today. May be putting this place on ice for a while. Ignored and left with NO FOOD.... a complete waste of my time for sure.
