Good food. Nice comfy place to eat. Staff was very friendly.

1/29/26 Update. Service was great. But when my meal came out, the metal tray the food was sitting in and the rice bowl both smelled like mop water. I let the waitress know and she went back and probably gave the dish washer a good ribbing. I still ate the catfish as it was sitting on paper. It was still delicious. I didn't eat the rice. No one else at my table had this problem. They did acknowledge...

Visiting from out of town- our first time ever and it was the best decision! We ordered takeout and the service was still fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere. The cashier was so patient while we decided and so sweet! Thanks Frank’s, I see why you’re famous.

Came on New Year’s Day. Not a lot of options and thankfully Franks was open.

Ordered
- Temptation platter w chicken wings; yams; Mac and cheese; gravy. Mac and cheese was amazing w a hint of Gouda. Collard greens were great. We even drank the liquid.
- Added side of waffles. Super crispy w a nice hint of vanilla.
- Side of catfish filet was crispy, flakey and tender.

Place is filled with music memorabilia....
