Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with Freddy’s absolutely earned one.

I spent what felt like a ridiculous amount of money on a delivery order, only for it to show up missing items, incorrect, and clearly rushed. There was no Freddy’s sauce at all—not regular, not spicy. No ketchup or BBQ sauce for my kids’ meals either, which is kind of a big deal when you’re feeding kids fries and tenders.

It somehow got worse from there. I PAID EXTRA for extra cheese and bacon on my patty melt, and neither one was on the sandwich. Zero. Not even a hint. Then, as the final insult, I take a bite and get a mouthful of COLD grilled onions. Not warm. Not lukewarm. Cold. On a hot sandwich.

For the price Freddy’s charges, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. Missing paid add-ons, forgotten sauces, cold toppings, and no quality control whatsoever. This wasn’t just one small mistake — it was mistake after mistake in a single order.

Extremely disappointing experience, especially for a brand that’s supposed to be reliable. I won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

Two cars in drive through including myself. Five cars parked at store. Placed order before 5:19 although receipt reads differently. Spent well over 23 minutes in the drive thru waiting on food. No update by drive thru person. Meanwhile we could hear her and other staff members just yapping away. I usually have nothing but praise for Freddys’s as a whole but tonight’s experience was simply bad. When I got home the food was no longer fresh. Go to any other Freddy's besides this location. We ordered online and that was our first mistake. If you order online they will short you or mess something up. We ordered cheese fries and there was the equivalent of half a square of cheese on the fries, one of the sodas was sticky and wet, and we paid for sides of sauces that we didn't receive. I will not be returning to this location. If I want Freddy's again I'll just go to the east side or pick a different burger place.

Ordered 2 hamburgers and small fries on December 15th evening in Albuquerque to take away. Can only say they were the worst hamburgers I believe we have had. Dry , cold , no sauces on them. No ketchup offered for the fries. For what we paid we expected more. Won't be back at Freddy's again.

Horrible girl at drive through window. Told her she did not give me a root beer float (it was just a drink with ice). I waited told her again.(she screams at me “You need to leave!” She grabs the drink from me throws it in the trash, a few moments later, she comes back and throughs the root beer float at me. Thank the lord she made that wrong too. It was all ice cream. People talk about customers behavior but her behavior was uncalled for. Shame on you! As for The guy working the fryer inside is giving her praises for her ugly behavior. I will also have to cancel my card because they said they could refund me through my card it didn’t work (???*)But I did get it in cash 17.xx. Anyway, if you were behind me, Sorry.

Freddy's is supposed to have crispy Edge around the hamburger per the website I had to ask them to smash my burger and cook it again it still did not come out with Crispy edges

Super super super slow service. I don’t care if you have door dash orders I’m right here waiting for my food. It’s all cold and dry drinks watery

The drive thru wait was 15+ minutes with 3 cars in front of me. The drive thru window had a note saying they were short staffed. The food was cold and the fries were obviously not fresh. If you're short staffed, maybe you should close for the day instead of selling substandard food.

Deliciousness! Love it! Just wish the Mayor would do something about the Homeless hanging about.

There is no substitute for a concrete for desert at Freddys. Just such a good way to feel better after a long rough day. The staff here makes a good effort for good food and cleanliness everytime I'm in.

At 8:50 they closed the registers even though the restaurant shows open until 10 on the door. We were not able to get dessert after eating.
