I don't like my stakes with blood in them so I order my steak well done. I had to sent it back three times and then it came back burnt with charcoal edges. they were not good. you could tell the cook was mad. I have had well done steaks before and they were very good and tender.
This place has amazing delicious food, it never disappoints. So many options and the staff is super friendly.
Poor and abusive management to employees. My family and I witnessed abusive and threatening behavior towards employees by upper management. It was clearly visible that one of the employees was a person with a disability and the other was a young teenage girl. The male supervisor was outspokenly abusive to his staff in a threatening manner. This is the second time we witness such behavior. Based on the reviews, Western View | Steak Diner and House is a very nice Route 66 diner with great food, good service, and that Route 66 atmosphere. It is a country style, friendly diner with a homey atmosphere. The place is family owned and feels it. The menu is just like a good old diner with everything you could want. The food is beyond good, with everything handmade and fresh. The chips and salsa are delicious. For breakfast, an omelette smothered in both types of chile sauce is excellent. A new Mexican combination plate is absolutely stellar. The baked goods are always so so yummy with generous portion sizes. The ribeye steak medium rare, with charr, is delicious, nice and tender with good pockets of juicy fat. Prices are reasonable, about the going fare, maybe even a little cheaper. The service is top notch. It is a place to treat yourself to a diner in the 50s.
