Garduño's of Mexico Restaurant & Cantina at Old Town

The meal at Gardunos was the worst I've had in a long time. I ordered the carne asada tacos. The tacos were so greasy I didn't eat them and the veggies were over cooked. The meat in the tacos was in chunks, like stew meat, not strips and the entire plate arrived lukewarm. I should have sent it all back. My husband's enchiladas were okay and the only reason I didn't give the food a one star. Floor around the table was littered with chips and French fries and the table was sticky. For the price point, this place could be far better. Stick to the margaritas.

We've been here several times always with good service, food and cocktails. This visit everyone seemed to be off their game from the hostess, server, margaritas and food.

Service was awful. Hostess completely overwhelmed; made us wait when the restaurant was empty and we had a reservation, while she let 2 other parties that came behind us and didn't have a reservation sit before us. Restaurant had a terrible odor that was not a food smell. Restaurant was so loud from their live music plus a wedding in the hotel that you couldn't hear the person next to you. My first ever terrible experience at a restaurant on open table.

Staff was great food was crunchy sopapilla and brunt Chile relleno to the point the Chile was black used to be so much better

Had a great time here for breakfast the other day. We were the only ones inside, so the service was rapid. The hosts were very friendly, cracked jokes with us, and the food was excellent. Decently sized portions as well. Atmospheric and located inside a beautiful hotel hotel. Highly recommend.

Good food, moderately quiet. Guy playing guitar added to the atmosphere. Service was good.

Food cold. Beef and chicken tacos tasted like fish- probably grilled on same surface as fish and not cleaned in between? Nothing was hot and burrito was very bland. Won't be going back.

MASTY FOOD!!!! Fajitas are horrible, shrimp cocktail nasty, enchiladas horrific. Go to El Pinto, Hot tamales, don’t waste your money here. Yo are Not going to like anything you order.

This was just a negative experience all around. I don't think we will be back. The food was meh, the service was off, we were very disappointed during our visit. The manager brought us the wrong drinks, we told him they were wrong and asked for the correct drinks. He tried to gaslight us to tell us they were the right drinks. We politely declined and asked him to change them, but he handed them to two different employees who tried to give them to us a second time! How insulting and frustrating. This used to be a favorite spot to come have a drink and some food with a great atmosphere. Sad to say we won't be back.

The bread was warm and fresh. A great start to the meal.

Got together with some friends for drinks and appetizers. It was a Friday afternoon, unfortunately they were short staffed so they weren't offering food service and they ended up stacking the chairs on all the tables around us I suppose to discourage people from sitting in the bar. By the time we left, they were letting people sit in the bar area.

We were there during shift change, and the first waitress was awesome, friendly, and attentive. The second waitress was not so friendly. She kept leaving the bar unattended, and I waited on her twice for several minutes each time for her to return.

I waited once to order drinks because she wouldn't come to our table and the second time to pay our the bill.

Everything else was good. I will definitely visit this Gardunos again.

We loved the atmosphere of the place but the service was terrible and food was subpar. Our waitress Cassandra was extremely rude. Even to a point where she harassed our table about eating meat and explained how she was a vegan and humans were not created to eat meat. We had an EXTREMELY unpleasant experience.
