The good..
Their street tacos are really good, with unique flavors and their taco salsa's will burn your butt, but leave you feeling that dopamine rush of flavor that you'd expect from a street taco salsa.

Their club sandwiches live rent free on my top-5 shelf of club sandwiches, just don't expect 3-levels of depth in this sandwich, it's a 2-breaded fully loaded crunch bomb between the toast and the bacon. Always ask for fresh bacon.

Their staff has always been friendly and quick with service and attentive.

They have a new pool table area that you can rent out and lounge in a private room, it's rarely utilized so chances are you can rent it for yourself.

The bad...

The food quality has gone down hill since new ownership.

Their Google photos look nothing like their food in person. More specifically their wings. Order a 6 piece wing and you will start to question your life's choices. You will feel both guilty and buyers remorse for eating the legs of a baby chicklet or something tiny that resembles a micro chicken strip with bones. Then to justify your purchase you decide to go to Wing Stop to order actual Wings to satiate your craving.

Their Chips and Queso used to be quality with a unique recipe for the queso, now it's like they've discovered Velveta from Walmart, and yesterday's batch of Chips.

Their alcohol selection has diminished with time, while prices have gone up. Apparently only the strongest beers have survived their cut backs. If you're looking for all those local favorites brews that you're used to, chances are they no longer have it on their menu, but there's still some of the usual national beers on tap that you'd expect.

Finally they used to have TVs covering every angle of the establishment, allowing spectators to enjoy their favorite sports game, it seems that they have removed some of their TVs and if you're sitting in a booth you might want to pack your monocle as the TV is mounted too far and too high for comfort.

The ugly... Truth

My wife and I were consistent regulars, and looked forward to grabbing some dinner and a drink while enjoying each other's company. Lately, Neighbors has not even been a consideration. I truly hope to see some new updates to their menu, and perhaps different vendors for their chicken. I'm not a snob, I'll eat the GMOd wings, just put some meat on those bones you know.

Well I won't be visiting Neighbors any longer. I've just had it with their sub-par food and at times, ridiculously non-existant service.
I went in at the end of August during a weekday around 2:3pm- big mistake. It took almost 25 minutes for the 3 of us to get our food. We asked our server when will we get our order and she assured us it would be soon. NOTE: If you visit Neighbors at this time of the day they have a minimal staff. We saw 2 servers and 1 person in the kitchen. I totally understand businesses can't keep a full staff during slow hours but this is ridiculous. Oh and your salsa from the appetizer menu is way too hot. It's equal to Sadie's Hot if anyone needs a reference.
My most recent visit was just last week (see my photo receipt) and while the service was fine, 2 things jumped out at me immediately: The seats/benches/booths along the window side are completely ripped and torn and look tacky. Hey Owners: It's time to take some profits from your business and invest back into it!
My second annoyance was the 5-Piece Chicken Tenders. I wish I had taken a photo of them: They were of the thickness of a french fry. We should've sent them back. Long, thin and under-seasoned for $17 is a ripoff. While the Server was pleasant, I think just checking on our table just once during our lunch is not adequate.
Anyway, small portions, salsa that is too hot for the average consumer, seats in an embarrassing state of disrepair, sporadic service and orders taking too long to arrive all mean that I WON'T BE BACK! The economy is not the best right now and I will be much, much more picky on who gets my money.

We had stopped going here due to walking in one evening and getting sat and never served. After a while of not going we decided to give it a shot again. We had a much better experience this time. I do believe the server said her name was Sam, she was great and very attentive. Definitely pleased this time around.

I went to watch the game and I ordered the wings and they were very dry and served with old celery and carrots. Dressings were very watery. The beer and server were good. I should have returned the wings.

Came here to pre party for a friends Birthday. Our server Sam was amazing!! She took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. She even sang happy birthday to our friend with us. Sam was great !! Thank you Neighbors

Great staff, Amazing drinks, and great friendly environment. Wanted to try some food on the menu but the kitchen was closed early. I hope to go there again and give it another try to try their food. looks real good.

Wow quite a change from the last time I was Herr. Love the new patio, the Swiss burger was great! I may be coming back a little more often!

Took a trip down from Durango to Albuquerque and had lunch. While we were there our waiter Joseph was outstanding!! The customer service was probably the best I have ever had!! Kind, friendly, knowledgeable and just over all made my day that much better. The food was awesome and the drinks were on point!! I will 100% recommend this place and waiter to all my friends!! Good job guys we will be back!!
