I went to High Noon the night before because I was craving steak. It was so delicious that I wanted to return to try one of their New Mexican entrees. The blue corn enchiladas with chicken did not disappoint. It was flavorful, beautifully presented and extremely satisfying. The Grande Margarita that I got was also outstanding. If I live in ABQ this would be a regular haunt! Until next time, High Noon.
High Noon was highly recommended by staff at the hotel where I was staying. The steak was excellent and the mushroom and potato enchiladas were unique and delicious. The menu offered bread on request and I like good bread so I asked for it. It was a couple of unimpressive dinner rolls that were also stale. I spoke to my server and she offered to bring me new ones. The new ones were slightly warm on top and chilled n the middle. I don't understand why the rest of the meal...
Server was great, bartender was great, drinks were excellent, we ordered two tenderloins and they were the steaks I've had in years. The tacos and rellenos were very good the server readily substituted calabacitas for rice. My wife ordered a green chile cheeseburger, medium rare. The hamburger was overcooked, dry and had the consistency of shoe leather. The fries were cold and rubbery. We've had better burgers at Blakes. We'll go back, but will never order the green...
