Hurricane Cafe has a fun old-school diner vibe that feels laid-back and nostalgic. Prices are much cheaper than most places, which is a big win. I had a burrito—it didn’t have a ton of flavor, but it was still good overall and filling. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, which made the experience better. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, affordable meal.

Don't come in at 20 minutes until 3pm because they close early and you have to get your food to go.

Food was good. Our server was good. The guy who seated us (not the same person as our server) however, was just a no personality human and was generally unfriendly and appeared as though he would rather be anyplace else. Place is pretty run down and needs some repairs to all of the booth seating. Cushions are worn out and ripped. They all need to be replaced. Feels generally unclean with stuff splattered on the tile walls and windows. Bathroom was dingy and felt gross and unclean. No paper towels. Probably won’t dine in again but would get it to go. I’ve been coming here for the last decade. Sadly just gone downhill.

One of my favorite places to go to breakfast! The staff is so welcoming and will be kind on days when social and anti- social

When I went in for breakfast. I found an eyelash in my food. The waitress had the nerve to ask me if it was mine... I wear glasses. No it was not mine and that question should have never been said. That is degrading to your customers. I haven't been back to HAIRYcane's and don't see my return as long as that waitress works there.

Food was delicious and the price is amazing. I had the disaster burrito. Follow the size reference because it's pretty accurate. The service....not so much. Our server came twice. Once to give our water and take order and second to drop off the food. We were done and waited for out checks. Made eye contact with him several times to get the check but he continued to ignore me. Finally just walked up to the cashier counter and had to ask for the check to pay. He continued to avoid me like he owed me money or something. Overall, I would definitely come back.

I have been goin to Hurricane's since I was 8 years old, and now skip ahead 27 years, the amazing food and atmosphere was just as good as always.

I ordered the Breakfast Disaster Burrito(full size) and would recommend it every time.
Carne asada, beans, egg, and cheese smothered in Chile potatoes and cheese.

The oldies atmosphere is always welcoming and feel so much more authentic then any of these new places that try to compare.

Super nostalgic. Always came here as a kid and it’s the same old fashion diner environment. Always a good experience 😌

Whilst the food and service here is fairly good, you better be prepared for the plethora of “unhoused” people who have begun to take over the area in which this restaurant is located.
