Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above.. Don't fence me in... Let me ride through the wide open country that I love.. Don't fence me in... Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze.. And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees.. Send me off forever but I ask you please.. Don't fence me in... We settled in for a late lunch, outside our fence, at the.. Kabob House... We shared a "Kashk Bademjan" (pan fried eggplant with Indian bread) appy (just wished the eggplant was less soft) and... "Boneless Lamb Kabob Plate" with perfectly seasoned and cooked juicy lamb w. rice, onion, red cabbage and cucumber sauce...most scrumptous.. Washed down w. a Kurdish Damnoosh (fruited hot tea, made by Grandma Kabob) for the Lass and a Turkish Coffee for the Lad (though enjoyable, would have preferred a Turkish Coffee Martini..:) This restaurant has an open comfortable feel..:) A nice Mideast getaway for the Old Folk.. I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses And I can't look at hobbles and I can't stand fences Don't fence me in..:) Best, Avram Bing Krosby Jr.

I have never in my life gotten food poisoning until I ate at this restaurant . I don't even know where to begin. I ordered off of GrubHub where I thought I was getting chicken breast along with rice, veggies etc (like the picture shows). ok so that's my bad for not completely understanding what exactly I ordered. I got my side of pita and made a sad meal into a happy meal but boy was I wrong. The flatbread was stale and the chicken was flavorless but not raw. It's now a day later and I'm sick, puking (sorry gross) and had the worst fever of my entire life. I'm so grossed out. I should have trusted the review with the raw chicken. I will never be going back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Super disappointed.

The service was great the service was kind and helpful with the menu. We annoyed the food and the clean atmosphere. To busy enjoying our time that we forgot to take a picture we will be back!

Excellent little restaurant!!! Ordered their Sultani (came with a beef koobideh and filet mignon with seasoned chicken) a second plate of beef koobideh. Also ordered one tomato and one pepper dolmas. Everything is delicious and perfectly seasoned and portioned! Server is able to help with gluten free options if needed. It's a Kurdish and Persian style food, great food and good service. There are not a bustling squadron of employees which is fine, so patience is needed but well worth it.

I crave the food here. Every time we pass by Kabob House, My husband and I look at each other and ask each other," are you hungry?' and "are you?" Then we stop at Kabob House and have an amazing meal!

The restaurant is very comfortable and cozy, the food was delicious and definitely exquisite find in New Mexico, worth visiting to try out Kurdish/Middle Eastern food.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian kabobs! And fish kabobs also, which is unheard of.

We were there for lunch on a Thursday. We ordered a boneless lamb plate $19.99, a beef barg individual sewer $12.99, and a Majoun special drink $5.99. The plate comes with the skewer, basmati rice, raw onions, a very spicy jalapeño, tomato, pickled cabbage (way too sour), and a great yogurt sauce. The food was good and a bit overpriced. Service was great.

100% Authentic and very tasty meat. Well made and well presented. The portions are generous. Seating is well spaced to sit comfortably. The bread will get hard so eat it while it’s hot.Beef Kobideh and lamb skewer is the best dish to order. Their rice is very well made as it’s not a oily and soft and most importantly rice grains are all separate which is the best way to make rice and requires skill. The yogurt drink is good too.Vegetarian options: You have to read the description to find out if it’s vegetarian. The appetizer have a couple of options while main course is all NonVegeterianKid-friendliness: Kids can have their space and have good food.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access easy from the parking

Came with a group of out-of-town co-workers. Three of them are very familiar with various Middle East cuisines, and they gave enthusiastic thumbs ups. I tasted the Doogh (yogurt drink), but it was not for me. I had the Iranian black tea; we shared hummus, ta-digh (crispy rice), and kashk (eggplant) appetizers. I was disappointed with the ta-digh--nicely browned, but not crispy, but the kashk and hummus were great. I had mixed koobideh as my entree. Food was great; I loved the sides served with the koobideh. I would definitely come back.
