Food is 10/10 service 1/10. I go here for the food not the service. I’d give it 5 stars if the service was nice but it’s not. I’d give it less stars if the food here wasn’t so GREAT!
Order the combination plate with mac salad and 2 span musubi. The teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak didn't have much flavor, and the kalua pork was a little dry, plus never had kalua pork with bbq sauce, a little different. The one good thing was the Mac salad. It was spot on! The spam musubi was too thick. Way to much rice and a very thin piece of spam. Should be called rice musubi with spam. A bit out of the way, but that’s the beauty of it. The atmosphere is authentic and the folks treated you with Aloha. The place was clean but parking was tight in the back. The food was great and a great primer for our return to the Islands. Mahalo.
