Had the mango ice cream roll. She put fresh mango on a frozen disc, diced it small, then poured fresh cream on it and spread it thinly around until it froze. Then she scraped it into rolls, topped with fresh mango and whipped cream. WOW was it good! Kiddo had tutti fruity version of the ice cream roll and loved it. The hubs had butter pecan ice cream and loved it too. Tasted homemade. Mine obviously was, as I watched it go from cream to ice cream right before my eyes! Ambiance is cheerful. Selena played in the background, which I loved!Can't wait to try the elotes, Mar y Tierra, and the paletas! A perfect summer treat! Service was excellent. Yum yum yum!!!

If it can be done with ice cream, this place has probably done it. If you're not in the mood for dairy, they have a fantastic selection of paletas (Mexican popsicles) full of intense fruit flavors. This place is fun for us middle agers, and an absolute blast for kiddos.

So I went here because I am a fan of the TV show Better Call Saul which had several scenes filmed here, but ended up becoming a fan of La Michoacana. Definitely the best chiles rellenos and rice I ever had. The owner told me he makes the chiles rellenos fresh each day and they were not overly heavy with breading as you often find, so the chile flavor could come through. The rice had a slightly sweet flavor which was a nice side to the meal. They also have a nice selection of paletas (popsicles), with both fruit flavors and others like horchata.

La Real Michoacana Paleteria Ice Cream Shop you are truly magnificent, I had a wonderful experience here today. The mood is really fun and the team is fantastic. Every thing was very flavorful and I can't wait to go back already. Workers are really charming and service is very quick. We will most definitely be back!
