Been here a few times this past month, the aguas are pretty good no complaints there but the food itself is kinda disappointing, not terrible but the carnitas lacked flavor to the point all I could taste was lettuce and tomatoes, and I got an esquites and it also lacked so much flavor I can honestly say I’ve never had one lack flavor to this extent. I don’t think I’ll be getting food here again.
They have one of the best frito pies in town, delivering on corn chips, chili beans, lettuce, dipper cheese, light shredded cheeses, and sour cream; also pico de gallo and chopped jalapeños, but they'll ask if you want to opt out of either or both. CHECK before you leave 'cuz if you ask, say, to make sure you DO get pico de gallo, they may still leave it off. BTW the pico de gallo is excellent but quite mild; the jalapeños VERY not-mild; so proceed accordingly.
They have the best horchata in the world. It's always fresh and refreshing. I travel frequently, being military, and always stop by in albuquerque to get the horchata. 5 star quality, and the service is on point.
