Compared to other universities I have previously visited/been to, the food at the UNM dining hall is far better in quality and diversity, plus, you only have to pay once each time you are there to eat any of the food you want.

A spectacular dining experience. Breakfast menu has been simplified, but still very good.

Anyone ever seen someone as popular as mark. Reyna is lovely too
love the people who work here. definitely worth the visit. lts bufet style. all u can eat. parking is available after 5 800 meters away. $12 without meal plan
I have only used the cafeteria about 30 occasions in my time at UNM. It has many options for food, including readily available soups, salads, sandwiches, varieties of entrees, and many vegetarian and even vegan options. It functions as efficiently as a high school cafeteria, except 1 swipe can get you access to seconds or thirds of food options. There is always plenty of seating in a spacious atmosphere, with upstairs and downstairs rooms. The staff is very friendly. If I had to complain about something, I would say that the spices and seasonings in sauces are not clearly defined and samples should be offered before staff pours it on top of the food before serving. It’s true that you can ask for sauce on the side, but misleading titles like “honey chicken sauce” communicate it’s a honey sauce, when really it is a white gravy consistency and has no honey in it whatsoever.

For 1 the food is good awful, and they never advertise what they really have.
2. Half the staff is rude, I have been given attitude and in one case yelled at for literally no reason. The other half is amazing and I love them.
3. Again with the food, I have been given food poisoning once and found mold in my food several times
Don't ever get the unlimited meal plan, or any meal plan that prioritizes la posada at all, you're just wasting your money

It's all you can expect... Except, during peak times, they run out of utensils often, and all that's left are knives....
FYI $10 at lunch for outside people to come in, $15 at dinner I think.

I think the food is excellent and a great value for the money. I enjoy the pasta bar with the cooked to order food. One request: keep French dressing on the salad bar!
