Interesting distillery/brewery/restaurant. They are doing interesting things dreaming up new spirits, and new cocktails. They also have a brewery in house doing rotating beer options. They have more than 15 craft spirits in house for drinks and about 6-8 for in bottles. The Bosque Fog cocktail was very pleasant, definitely a must try. Cut ice from the supplier next door. The Old Town Tea is a house brewed hard tea is great as is the BBA Scotch Ale, so drinkable but comes in at 14%! Food menu is seasonal and slightly limited but good. Exteriors and location is a slight industrial but interior is nice and spacious for groups.

Left this place pretty disappointed.. we were enjoying our time up until we were leaving. We came had about 8 people with our table, and mostly everyone paid separate tabs. As we were in the parking lot a tall man with curly long hair came out and asked us if the service was bad, we told him no the service was fair. He said we were probably the worst tipping customers ever. Everyone tipped. Now, considering we were all paying separate tabs, we have no control over what each of our party was paying and everyone had their own judgment on how the service was. I don't think it was professional for us to be getting in our vehicles and for him to feel the need to confront us outside about the situation. Never have I been confronted like this in this industry, this is the type of job to where it's not always going to be consistent and everyone's judgment on service is going to be different!

It's a dive bar. I was fooled by the reviews. Went in and was ignored for 20 minutes. There were several VERY drunk 50 somethings in dirty clothes laughing at the bar. It's dark, grungy, dirty, and gross. Where I sat I could see people in the kitchen preparing food NOT wearing hair nets over long, untied hair and facial hair. Just ... A vibe, I guess but not the vibe they put out online. If you like biker bars, elderly low-income and low-education bars then it's great. If you don't want a dive bar.... Then keep looking. There are GREAT distilleries in Albuquerque.

I really want to like Left Turn Distillery but every time I go it's always a toss up. The mixed drinks are really good and they keep me coming back. It's also very close to my house and convenient. The atmosphere is like a normal bar. Kind of divey but I like it. The service is on average "okay". It depends on who is serving that day, but it's always a toss-up. This last time that we went the server was really good. Came and serviced us right away and actually acknowledged that we existed. There's another guy who makes you feel at home and welcome. He is just always so happy to help you. And then sometimes you go and you are completely ignored, don't get help, or they put up all the chairs way before closing. Just makes you feel unwelcome and like you're getting kicked out. I feel like overall I like the place and I'll keep coming back. I like their drinks enough to not let the iffy service bother me.

Love the spicy margaritas. Ordered fried shrimp - delicious!! Service is very good!! This could become your local bar if you live in Albuquerque. Down to earth and friendly service. Highly recommend it!!

So, the vodka is unique and amazing, gins are really good. The resperado tequila was the among the best sipping rums I have had. We did the New Mexican fries and the chips with queso. Homemade everything and delish.The beers and ciders need time to develop and will be there soon. Loved this local place and we will be back when we are in town.

This place was incredible! We are passing through for the night and decided to come for dinner. It was awesome. My husband had the shrimp po boy and it was the best one he's ever had. He said he would fly back here just to come eat it again. I had the tourist burger and it was the best burger I've had in a long time. As far as beer goes, the dunkel and the scotch ale were both so good! The service was top notch too. Instantly greeted and brought waters. I can't say enough good things about it honestly. We will definitely come back here when we come through town again. It's definitely a local hidden treasure, I only found it because of yelp and I'm so glad I did.
