Warm and local atmosphere with friendly and accommodating service. We were a party of 12 for breakfast right at opening, and food orders and prep was efficient, professional, and handled wonderfully. This is a classic diner on Rt.66—highly recommended…..

I have been going here for 35yrs! Steve and Dawn(the owners) are an icon of the Albuquerque downtown area and they will be missed when they are done. They will be retiring soon, so if you want to experience the experience that is Lindy's, then I suggest you go there as much as possible before they close the doors for good. Thank you so much, Steve and Dawn, for a lifetime of experience at your awesome establishment! -Robert-

Had lunch on Sunday and wondered into Lindy's. Love the inside with all the old pictures and different kinds of gadgets and machines used back in the day. We sat in the back where you can see the cooks in the back making the food. They were awesome! Great communication and getting the orders out fast. We ordered 2 of the juicy lucy burgers and the pile up with red and green and an order of green chile cheese fries to start. Green chile had just the right amount of spice that was enjoyable and very flavorful, and those fries were super cheesy just like I like them. The burgers were made to order. They were big and hella juicy and the one we ordered had the cheese inside the burger. It was amazing! The french fries were fresh hand cut fries. Man they were prefect and crunchy and you get a fresh grilled jalepeno, and boy were they spicy, but delicious. The pile up was beans, hashbrowns, bacon and 2 eggs and cheese piled smothered with your choice of chile and of course a grilled jalepeno, oh dont forget the tortilla you have to use as the spoon to sop it all up. We thought we were full until our waitress asked if we wanted dessert and so my nephew wanted an ice cream cone. That cone came out and I swear it was as big as his head! The ice cream was some of the best we have ever had. It tasted like it was homemade! We can't wait to go back! Highly recommend you giving Lindy's a try if you haven't!

The food was so good and came out quick (we had biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and a burrito)! The service was great, the waitress was working so hard and gave everyone a good experience. I was surprised how empty this place was! I’ll definitely come back

Second time arriving at 0830 on a Wednesday and they are closed. Business hours clearly state 0800 am. We drove across town to eat here and will not do that again.

Got there in downtown traffic on a Monday afternoon at 1:30 after paying for parking, the diner was closed although they're hours state they close at 4pm. Alot of trouble for nothing

Maybe we caught it on a bad day?

Place was about half full when we got there. Which was about noon.

Took over 45 minutes for us to get our food and we didn't get it all at once. Fries came after I had eaten my sandwich. I got the Reuben and I won't get it again. Not here anyway. It was greasy and not very tasty.
The fries were undercooked and the potatoes they use for the fries were rotten. So I had deep fried rotten potatoes.

They had beer on the menu, but was told they don't serve it anymore. Kinda bummed out about this one.

I had high hopes for the place, but I will not be going back. EVER!!!

Extremely disappointed with the lack of upkeep of this once Beautiful building! Heartbroken at its unloved interior 💔💔💔. The owners should be ashamed and Albuquerque should have policies that DO NOT ALLOW historic buildings to look like Lindy’s.

Finally made it to here, had been meaning to stop in as it's one of the oldest diners on Route 66. Great location downtown, was able to get street parking easily on a Sunday. Lots to chose from on their menu. We ordered the Mother Clucker Chicken Sandwich and Huevos Rancheros. Our food arrived quickly and the Chicken Sandwich was massive! Everything was fresh and excellent. Our server Dawn was friendly and great as well. If you like old diners then this is a must.
