It was not busy but steady. The service was very slow. We were there for 35 minutes before we got our food. They were telling people there was a wait when there were open tables and the food was justOK. Disappointing on a Saturday at lunch time.
Loved it! From out of town staying downtown for an event. Went to Lindy’s and had zero regrets. Service was excellent and food had a home made taste, which we loved, and very reasonable prices. I recommend to anyone spending time in downtown Albuquerque and wanting breakfast or lunch. Will visit again when back in Albuquerque.
Lindy’s Diner has a cool, classic vibe with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant experience. My breakfast was decent overall, but part of it was lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the service and ambiance made up for it. Would give it another shot and hope for a hotter plate next time!
Despite the fact that it was middle of week and in the morning while downtown, and Google indicating it was open, the restaurant was closed. You never know if it will be open. Owners wanted to sell. They need to sell to owners who will open it during the week. A restaurant downtown needs to br open for breakfast and lunch. Monday through Friday.
Ate here on a whim, great food and coffee. Would definitely come here again :)
I loved Lindsay!! Did was so good and it was so nice for such an older pay of central
This is a diner. They serve diner food. It is good tasting and a good value. Whoever said the steak and eggs were not cooked to order, not my experience. You should come here and eat their provisions. That’s all I have to say.
Wasn’t very busy but took a while for food to cook. Don’t bother specifying steak or egg preference—we asked for over-medium eggs and medium rare steak but got over-easy eggs and well-done steak. The hotcakes were fire. Best pancakes I’ve had in a long time. Kind server and good strong coffee.
Not a bad little diner. I would eat here again if I ever find myself back in Albuquerque.
Food was subpar. Red chili sauce was bland. They do not serve alcohol but have it on their menu. Server was polite and attentive. Wouldn't go back again.

Found this place searching online. Great food and friendly service. We will be back.
The food was good, but the service could be better.
Love this place. Burgers and fries were the best I’ve had in a while.
The atmosphere is cute and giving classic diner vibes! The staff is very friendly and on it. The breakfast was exceptional, with generous portions and quick to arrive at our table. Definitely coming back!
Lindy’s is one of the oldest diners in Albuquerque, with a charm all its own. Nestled in the heart of downtown, it’s a convenient spot to draw in a crowd. However, the interior falls far short, and any sense of diner nostalgia quickly fades. I’m unsure about the diner’s current status, as I’ve heard rumors of it closing on two separate occasions. It feels like a missed opportunity for a classic, chic downtown diner. From what I’ve heard, Lindy’s used to have that vibe. Perhaps the next owner will invest the money to bring it back to its former glory.
