When my wife and I arrived we were greeted by a pleasant hostess and our waiter, Gabe, was friendly and attentive. We had an appetizer and a drink and decided to order our entrees to take home. For the second order in a row, Little Anita's, in Old Town, has messed up the order. Today they provided slimy lettuce on a Green Chili burger. Luckily, due to a Gluten intolerance, the burger was ordered with no bun. Otherwise, I would have missed the slime and probably be writing this...read full review

Greeted as I entered by a friendly welcoming staff, quickly seated and brought water, fresh brewed iced tea and as I gazed the menu I found things I had never tried before, the staff answering any questions I had and very willing to accommodate my hunger, ordering Huevos Rancheros, with side sopapilla, it was absolutely delicious, I had asked what a stuffed sopapilla was they explained, but I did not order one as it contained mushroom, staff made me a...read full review
Took money from card and then said they had a system issue. Asked to run card again but all money was taken from the account. Refused to help or even make order. Have to now wait for bank to open in the morning to dispute charge. Never going here again.

Little Anita's New Mexican Food is a true "New" Mexican restaurant, a nice stop before or after visiting Old Town Albuquerque. The food is awesome, delicious, and amazing. Specific meals mentioned include the fiesta pollo, chicken quesadilla, chili relleno, fajitas, stuffed sopapilla (shredded beef), huevos chorizo with beans and tortillas, burrito with green salsa, and soft shredded beef tacos. The beef tacos and trio chips appetizer were good, but the sopapillas are the best—fresh, bubbly, warm, with honey. The Autumn green chili is great. The surroundings have touches of New Mexico all over, giving a native vibe. The staff is so friendly, professional, and accommodating. Servers are personable, funny, and attentive, taking great care of customers. A large group of 19 was accommodated in a private room, with food brought out in quick shifts. The restaurant has red salsa or green salsa. One customer met the owner, Anita, who is an awesome person.
