Los Pookies Mexican Restaurant

The food was actually pretty good, but the service left a lot to be desired. When we walked in, several tables were still dirty, and only one employee seemed to be working while another just sat in a corner. Our server took our drink order and brought them back promptly. We ordered an appetizer at that point, and when it arrived, we placed our main order.

While enjoying the appetizer, we noticed several other groups who arrived after us started receiving their food. After the fourth table—who came in well after us—was served before us, I finally asked our server what was going on. She admitted she had completely forgotten about our order.

To make matters worse, the AC wasn't working, which made the experience even less enjoyable. While the food itself was solid, the overall experience makes it unlikely we'll be back.

This place just gets worse and worse every time I come.... sent my food back because it was cold , 4 people standing up front and nobody could take the plate to the table while it sat on a counter for 15 minutes without heat , I've tried to support this place cuz at one time they were the best ! But I won't waste another dime here , bring Chris back that's when Los Pookies was on point !

Peaceful atmosphere, staff was very nice, horchata and homemade sopes were amazing, service took a little while, but it was worth it,I genuinely wish this place was in Florida, would totally come here again

Brought a group from Florida and we had a wide range of choices from the menu and every person thoroughly enjoyed their meal!!! Horchata was a hit as well……

Showed up for lunch/brunch on Sunday and was mind blown with the quality of the food and service. Honestly got more then we bargained for, the ramen birria, the quesabirria and quesadilla was some of the best we’ve had in a long time

We get the birria pizza- its worth the price!!! The new location is very nice, and the service was awesome. I don't go anywhere else for birria.

Cashier was sweet but girl in the back was rude. It was my first time there so I wanted to take the menu and sit and read it all and when I asked if I could take it to sit, the white girl in the back was so rude. I’ve never been there before. Ended up looking at the menu quick and ordered the birria ramen. Will go back.
