It's always great to see familiar faces when we have dinner at Mac's. The staff is wonderful and so is the food!
An Albuquerque icon to not be missed. Great service, food and atmosphere in an honest dinner that doesn't happen most of the time nowadays. Good specials also.
So I was craving Mac's steak in the rough and so I ordered the steak fingers meal from Mac's la Sierra thinking that they were related but I guess they're not because the meal is basically inedible The steak fingers and the fries taste freezer burnt and I can't eat them The coleslaw was warm which is not a good thing consider it has mayonnaise in it overall I spent 12 bucks for this meal which is a lot in this day and age yeah I won't be going back The service was great though
Music, lighting, and design all worked beautifully.
What a great place for breakfast. Nicole is friendly, charming, and a heartthrob. If I lived here I’d visit her everyday! Great recommendation on the Mexican polish sausage breakfast with sopapillas. Delicious!
Highly recommend!
Super yummy food and the staff were so sweet.
To start, I've been a loyal customer of this establishment since 1983. Unfortunately, I've walked out the last 2 visits due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Sad, because I've spent a lot of money here over the years. I believe everybody deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and for the staff not to be dismissive and argumentive when special needs are requested. I will never return to this establishment again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
This lovely little restaurant has existed for decades for a very good reason. Their food is simply divine! I have been coming here ever since I was a young pup, and have made some good memories here over a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, like any good little dive joint you might come across on your journeys.
The menu is varied and offers a little bit of everything: New Mexican, American and more. It's hard to pick a favorite dish for me. One dish that stood out in particular for me was the Mexican Polish Sausage entrée, which I highly recommend.
Bring your loved ones and be prepared for a good and hearty meal.
Always Amazing because nothing changes since I was little.

Neighborhood Classic
Mac’s La Sierra is a great spot for delicious New Mexican food! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Everything we ordered was fantastic—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The sopapillas came out a bit cold, but they were still tasty and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
