Mykonos Cafe & Taverna Reviews
Food was really good, but not very hot when finally brought to our table. I won't fault the kitchen, because our service was terrible all night. The waiter would constantly walk by, or near, our table with empty glasses and barely checked on us. The restaurant had around 4 or 5 other tables around us being used. I heard/saw multiple people wave down the waiter to ask for something. After we finally got his attention and asked for the check, he brought it, but didn't come back...read full review
We spent the evening in the bar area. The ambience was very relaxing, the bar service can’t be beat! I enjoyed the red wine by the glass selection. The Parmesan sole, my husband had was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the Mac and Cheese, so creamy and tasty. We will be making this place a regular stop!
We have been here 3 times. The first time the waitress was outstanding. The second time the waitress was mediocre. The third time the waiter was a young man that spent most of his time talking to the young lady bartender. We got out food before the bread. He was not a good waiter. The food was outstanding all 3 times.

Menu
Mykonos Cafe & Taverna offers a wonderful ambience, comfortable environment, and kind service. The restaurant serves delicious bread and standout dishes like the full rack of lamb with vegetables and feta whipped mashed potatoes, as well as exceptional appetizers like the Pei Mussels. While some entrees may be underwhelming, the service is generally outstanding. Customers look forward to returning to try other dishes and enjoy the classic crooners playing softly in the background. Recently, the restaurant has been renamed "Dorothea Fine Greek," featuring a new look with a very chill vibe. The place is still family-run, and the staff, including servers like Daniel, are friendly, quick, and professional. The menu includes great drinks like an old fashioned and dishes such as Branzino, lobster Mac, and rib eye with wild mushrooms. The fish and Mac are highly praised, though the rib eye was a bit chewy, fatty, and not worth the $62 price, as it was pre-cut and not bone-in. The restaurant also offers live music on Fridays, and customers enjoy desserts like baklava, which is very sweet and best shared. Overall, this is a place loved for its Greek and Mediterranean food, with many returning for the good food and service.
