Nexus Brewery & Restaurant

I’m sure the food is good but we never found out. Awkward hostess sat us down and then we sat for 5 minutes without any kind of acknowledgment. Went to quarter Celtic instead where the food and service is great.

Feels like ages since I last visited Nexus! The food is still pretty tasty, and their jambalaya remains my go to comfort dish. When I added shrimp, the portion felt a bit light for the $22 price—those shrimp must have been playing hide and seek with the jambalaya! On the bright side, the lady at the pickup counter was absolutely wonderful friendly, quick, and made the whole experience a smooth sail. Definitely worth another visit!

Good beer, bad fish and horrible service. Sat at the bar and took 20 minutes to be acknowledged.

Great food (Nashville fried chicken was terrific, but not as hot as the menu warned, which was good in my book), dining area wasn't great, but it is the fair priced and very good food to come here for.

I want to start by saying that our server, Micah, was an amazing server and took care of us every step of the way. However our food experience at nexus was not up to standards. We ordered around 7:25/7:30 and didn’t receive our food until 8:30. We were told in advance that our chicken breast meal wouldn’t have chicken breasts as they were out. That’s fine, things happen. However, when we recieved our meal it was only two tiny tenders. The kitchen manager told us more tenders would be coming out. They never did. We didn’t even get gravy with the two tiny tenders. And after a discount our meal was still $35 for two tiny tenders, fries and a small side of ocra. As I said Micah was amazing and tried to accommodate us every step of the way however I’m more upset that the management and ownership would put its guests and its servers in the uncomfortable position. It’s no longer cheap to go out to eat and so when I finally decide to I get subpar food, long waits, and inattentive management. Your staff is suffering at the incompetency of management and ownership and thus cut their own finances in covering for the companies mistakes and shortcomings. Do better for your staff and your customers. I will not be returning.

Small brewery selling some delicious soul food and good beer!! The fried chicken breast and collard greens are a must-try! The fish came out hot...crunchy with a flaky inside. Awesome service with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Welcome to the Empty Plate Club, Nexus.
It's very rare that I get something at a restaurant that is perfectly seasoned. But that fried chicken was hands down the best fried chicken I have ever paid for.
The pico was fantastic as well.
The enchiladas with chicken covered in red and green was perfect level of spice.
Perfect place to spend your birthday lunch.

Stopped by to refill some growlers. Everything was great: except for one thing.

I have a lifetime neighbor membership here, and for some reason, the server said my information didn't seem to exist any more.

She tried to recreate or readd my information with no luck. She took my info down and said she'd have someone looking into it in the back end.

When my membership is restored and visible again, I'll add that 5th-star back.

Truly the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten! The beer was great, and the staff was friendly! They were also super amazing about being careful about my weird food allergies! I would highly recommend trying this place!
