A great, lively atmosphere. The food was 1st class, and our server Jude was fun and engaging. There was a little 10min wait, but no problem. We reviewed the menu and relaxed, and were ready when Jude arrived. Everything arrived exactly as ordered, and we added To-Go entrées at the end for our late night dinner. I only wish I’d gotten some take home brew … their offerings are very appealing…. I won’t forget them next time.

This seems like a chill spot to enjoy some beers and comfort food. They have plenty of parking in their lot. I only had a party of two, but we had to wait 20-30 minutes. They have a solid menu of soul food. I got the 2-piece NM hot chicken for $16.50. It was an extra $3.50 to substitute fries and get fried pickles. It was pretty sad for hot chicken. It was not spicy. Maybe I should have just gotten the chicken & waffles.Their award-winning beers were pretty good. I liked the imperial cream ale $6.50 (12 oz) better than the honey chamomile wheat $7.50 (20 oz).I want to point out that service was extremely slow. We waited around to get our order taken, then waited for beers to be brought out. We asked for water and never got any. I paid with a credit card. I have a photo of my signed receipt. When I checked my bank statement later, I was charged an extra dollar. I did not see any notice for extra dollar charge for using a credit card, so I can't figure out why they would do that.

The Fried Chicken was good, perfect crunch and well seasoned. The Fried Fish lacked flavor. The fact that the fish is pretty expensive, I would think this is something you want to get right. It was lacking flavor 1 out of 10. The greens and mac n cheese were mid. Definitely use some seasoning and flavor in the mac-n-cheese. The service was great and the atmosphere was good as well

Had the chicken and waffles and some wings. Food was super delicious and and chicken was juicy. A girl named Natasha was our waitress and the service was fantastic, very attentative and friendly! Can't wait to go back.
We’ve been looking for the right spot for barbecue since moving to Albuquerque and finally we found. The smell pouring out the back made me want to order everything on the menu. Brisket was super super tender and ribs were falling off the bone! And the BRISKET TACOS ARE PERFECT! My only warning is the Hot Links are HOT! Be careful! ??

Visited here and wasn't a fan. I came for the wings after several people recommended them and I was super disappointed. They were super soggy and the sauce was way to heavy in onion flavor. We ordered fried pickles for the table and they were so thin the pickles were pretty much non-existent. The waffles are good and another person enjoyed their grilled chicken. Overall just not my jam.
Came in for the first time tonight. The atmosphere a 10/10. The music most definitely a 10/10 and Josiah was amazing. We will definitely be back, no doubt about that! Oh and the food of course 10/10.

Excellent beer and great food. This is an Albuquerque gem; every beer on the menu is solid; not a single dud in the line up. The southern cooking is really quite impressive. The fusion with NM flavors is cool too.

The best soul food that we have found in New Mexico by a mile. This space is a must even if you don’t like spice in your food. But if that is what you aim for the hot chicken and waffles is out of this world.
