I never had a problem with these people till yesterday. Server was angry. The new cook is lousy. You need more work. And the owners didn't agree of what we said about the food they were kind of upset or were the customers?
As I finished my sopilla and poured out just enough honey to take the last bite, out of the honey bottle came a fly....very dead, and probably pretty sweet. So needless to say, I didn't finish that last bite of Sopilla ....realizing I had already consumed enough fly honey for the day. Besides that, the food was great and I've been going there for 20+ years and this was the first, hopefully the last time I get the bottle of fly honey!
Oh. My. Gawd! So delicious. Best sopapillas in town and two come with every meal (although I still had to order a third because they were so delicious). And REALLY nice honey for your sopapillas. I got the #1 combo and that was probably the best hard shell taco I've ever had. The rice was also great. Everything was. And spicy, but still within my tolerance as a native New Mexican who has been gone a long time. You know a place has EXCELLENT food if they can close at 7pm every...
