Piatanzi Reviews
My wife and I make better Italian food than any place in town with one exception, Piatanzi. Their pomodoro is as good as any I've ever had.
My first time here and the service and food were amazing! We (3 people) arrived at 6 on friday evening and were promptly greated and seated. Our server was attentive and knowledgable of the specials and menu. We ordered their artichoke appetizer, the special watermelon & beet gazpacho and a meatball pizza... shared the 3 items betweeen us, enough food to have leftovers and all 3 were delicious!
A quiet place for dinner and a conversation

Piatanzi is a popular neighborhood spot known for its tasty food and variety of wines. The staff is friendly and prompt, making the dining experience enjoyable. The Penne al Forno is a must-try dish that even picky eaters will love. The restaurant offers a gluten-free pizza crust and pasta, with the pasta being the standout option. Customers also appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the knowledge of the bartender. The space is versatile, accommodating both solo diners and large groups, and can even be kid-friendly. Visitors enjoy the cozy yet classy vibe, often seeing Chef Pete Lukes come out to visit with guests at the bar. The menu includes dishes like eggplant parmesan, Pollo Putanesca, and Scampi, and the Calamari appetizer is highly recommended. Plenty of parking is available in a quiet area, and reservations can be made easily online or by phone. Piatanzi remains a neighborhood favorite for a top-notch dining experience.
