Ate here while visiting Albuquerque and really like it. We tried the egg rolls and Rangoons and they were good. We had the beef and broccoli and pad Thai and both were awesome. The staff was fantastic and the food portions were good size. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The service was terrible, the food was even worse. Rice was crunchy, vegetables are raw, meat was overcooked. Had nothing good to say about that meal.

I used to love eating here. Had lunch there yesterday. They were out of chicken, lettuce and the green beans. The register area looked like a storage area. Limited staff. Food was just o.k.

My husband and I went on a Thursday night. Both of us love this place from memory but unfortunately it was not very good. Should have known when there was one table in there when we walked in. I ordered the Spicy Chicken General Tso with fried rice, and my husband ordered the Orange chicken with Lo Mein. The only thing I could taste was the heat. The lo mein was just spaghetti noodles that were cold. VERY DISAPPOINTED! We both said, "Should have gone to Panda Express!"While also there, we noticed the security guard give the not so pleasant (crack head) a cigarette and offer him a ride. We know that's an issue in the area and don't hold the restaurant responsible, but the whole experience was not pleasant.

What happened?Terrible Asian food experience today. Tasted like food from frozen bags. Paid over $52.00For food that was prepared out of a bag. This was not fresh food. Lame at best. The dumplings were steamed yes but not golden, the pork egg rolls were cold and tasted old with a gross aftertaste. The beef dish tasted old as well, like the beef had been pre cooked, not tender or juicy but dry, also with a strange flavor and aftertaste. Pork egg roll was not good- none of it.A terrible disappointment.Go at your own risk.I also just want to say that it’s pretty interesting that the response from the owner/Management on everybody’s reviews are the same robotic response. All I really know for sure is that it probably won’t be very long before this place closes their doors for good. I mean I really do remember this place to be rocking and rolling with excellent food. Excellent spicy fusion food. I mean just walking in And smelling the food and seeing it being cooked, used to be a tantalizing experience. Far , far, far from being the culinary experience I remembered.Unfortunately now, Pei Wei is fake and only poses as the same. Anyone who knows better knows.

I called to place a take out order at the Uptown location. Was asked to hold and nobody ever picked up the phone (not the first time). I was on hold for over 10 minutes. Decided they might be busy and just went inNot busy at all. Stood there for several minutes and nobody even walked over to take my order. Went to Jason's Deli, better food anyway.

The manager that was there on Fathers Day was Incredibly Inconsiderate to food allergies. He was dismissive and short. They were also out of multiple items. Me and my family come to eat here once a week. We will no longer do that.

It's not everyday I choose to write a negative review. We were so excited to eat at Pei Wei as we don't have this restaurant chain near us anymore, but we used to visit often when we lived near multiple locations. My first gripe is that the website stated they were open till 9pm but we found they closed at 8pm. Lucky for us...or some thought, we got there at 7:52pm. The first thing was they told us we couldn't eat in the restaurant since they were going to be closing. This irked me, as I was taught during my restaurant employment days that if a customer crossed your threshold at 1 minute to closing you took them through the entire dining experience as if they were the first customer of the day. Well, fortunate for us, we were planning to take it togo.To make a long story short, they messed up our order and didn't include one of the entries that they specifically asked us to make a substitution on, and when we went back to the store, they basically said the kitchen was closed and the best they could do was refund the dish. I eventually convinced the manager to see if they just forgot to include it since we know they prepared it. It wasn't there, but there were to other entries that were there that he offered up. (Maybe their employee meal). I thought that was a Nobel offer of the manager to try and correct the issue, and it was very appreciated.Unfortunately, when we ate the food all of our entries we fair at best and did not live up to our expectations and memory. I'm not sure if it was due to the restaurant location, or more of a systemic quality degradation of the franchise itself. All that to say, we will greatly think twice before making our way to a Pei Wei.

The Pei Wei Spicy (original) Chicken used to be my favorite. I still like the sauce, but the chicken was soooo dry... OMG! they didn't need to kill that poor chicken... it was already dead! Please have a manager taste the dishes... either the pieces of chicken are too thin or they are cooking too long but it was too dry and tough to chew! Super disappointed... quality has really gone down hill. Jet Tila would be horrified if he could see (taste) how they are murdering his recipes... so much potential and so poorly executed! such a shame!
Went to pei wei to try some food. I decided to get the spicy basil Thai chicken with fried rice. The dish was tasty and spicy. Good taste and decent portions. Fast and friendly service. A clean place.
This place is terrible. The noodles were hard and stuck together, all the meat was on the verge of being burnt. The dumplings were under cooked First time experience was all around disappointing. I will never dine here against
I used to love going here. Not anymore. Was told they changed partnership and are no longer in the family of restaurants with PF Changs. Thus their recipes have changed. Everything we got tasted much different than in previous years. The Pad Thai was somehow sweet and gooey. The Honey sauce was off and tasted spoiled. The employee went and tasted it but found nothing wrong but what we had definitely tasted rotten....perhaps the oil not the sauce? Either way they did refund for that dish but we will not be coming back there again. They had been dusting the beams but left the duster out over three tables and all the tables and floor were covered in black dustbunny clumps. You could see they were understaffed. Everything seemed slightly dirty and just not well cared for. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Horrible sewage smell in the women's restroom. I remember saying when we drove up "It's a Saturday, this place looks dead." Well now I know why.
