This Pelicans has consistently been one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque over many many years. But the last time I was there (in April 2024) the service was unfortunately terrible. And that was after making a reservation. The event was my son's birthday. We arrived and they didn't have the reservation, so we waited and waited and waited... while they seated two other parties who arrived after us without reservations. (And we were only had a group of three...)...

Pelicans West is the best restaurant in New Mexico! The owners are Top Notch, food is always amazing! Oysters with jalapeño sauce is unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. See you soon!

There's a few recommendations.. Key Lime pie and the fish and chips. The fish is really good! I don't care for fried fish, but this is good.

Parking: Can get tight but you'll find a spot on weekends
