Went here to celebrate a birthday. It’s one of the few places that can accommodate a large group and takes reservations. The atmosphere is comfortable, but a step up and food and service were great.

This Pelicans has consistently been one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque over many many years. But the last time I was there (in April 2024) the service was unfortunately terrible. And that was after making a reservation. The event was my son's birthday. We arrived and they didn't have the reservation, so we waited and waited and waited... while they seated two other parties who arrived after us without reservations. (And we were only had a group of three...)...

Pelicans West is the best restaurant in New Mexico! The owners are Top Notch, food is always amazing! Oysters with jalapeño sauce is unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. See you soon!
