we ordeed the margarita pizza and it had nothing on it except a couple of onions hardly any cheese. The wedge salad was pretty much a box of lettuce. The place was packed so maybe it was just a weird mix-up. It certainly did not justify the $50 price tag for a to-go order.

We had an early dinner and enjoyed several items from the happy hour menu as well as dessert. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The best was the toasted ravioli.

I’ve eaten there twice now, and it’s been outstanding both times. Very upscale local authentic Italian pizza and pasta restaurant and bar. My daughter devoured the mozzarella sticks and meatball calzone. I can’t stop thinking about the eggplant parm! Best Cesar dressing, and the Calamari came with the freshest house made pesto in addition to marinara. It’s definitely a bustling atmosphere, but a great place for a family meal or casual date night. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town.

We were heading back from our sunset tram ride ( which was awesome) and I knew that heading back into town would make for a long wait for dinner. I read Pizzeria Luca reviews and thought they were good.
To my dismay, I had the Chicken Parmesan hero /sandwich with french fries. The bread was very hard and not easy to chew. The Chicken was hard too. No flavor , and over cooked . They put the marinara sauce on the side. I use it to dip my fries in it. My biggest mistake was not to give my meal back.
Later in the evening I had stomach pains and indigestion all night long. This one meal has set me back for a whole week. I'm finally geting back to feeling myself.
I don't like to give negative reviews because it's not good for this establishment but when I felt the way I did , I had to voice my thoughts.
For anyone who thinks there food is not right , give it back . You and I pay good money for the food we eat.
On a positive note the rest of my group did like what they had to eat. Build Your Own Calzone, Margherita Pizza, Bianco Pizza.

Luca has definitely lost its edge. The calamari Is over-battered (frozen?) and over fried, the Linguine with clams is served in a big bowl of greasy soup rather than in an a sauce which the menu indicates. We waited a long time for the appetizer even though it was past the lunch rush. The excuse: “We had a big order before you.” Where?, I wondered. Very disappointing, won’t be back.

The food is way over priced for what it is. The Alfredo is basically white velveeta. $100 for 3 people! The service wasn’t bad but wasn’t $100 tab worthy either.

Fettuccine was hard. Almost no Alfredo sauce. No bread for 10 bucks

Go somewhere else

Pizzeria Luca is always on point! The clam linguine is my go-to, the wine’s good, and their happy hour deals are solid.

Great ambience! I thought it was a quaint pub style pizzeria. I didn't have any of the food there, but the drink was excellent. Would like to return and try some of the food.

Most bizarre pizzeria! There are no common favorites on the menu (for example, no pizza with pepperoni and no pizza with just veggies). Instead, you have to build your own pizza and pay $2 for each topping. The smallest pizza is the same cost as an extra large pizza anywhere else. :(
