“Not as good as my beloved Two Fools, but adequate. Fish and chips is not as good. I came because they advertised a particular beer I like which turns out they no longer carry. Apparently we walked in right at the end of a rush and it took fifteen minutes or so for them to get to us, That's understandable.“

Sandia Saloon Pubs • $$
5815 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque

“Ok here's the deal. This bar is IN the Whole Foods. Or, like, right next to it. It was closed over COVID but it has been back open as normal for long time now. It disappeared from Maps but I hope you all find it!Sandia Saloon has got a super chill vibe and good taps. They also have wine and some premade mixes drinks. They serve some hot food that probably comes from the deli kitchen, but you can also buy anything from the store and eat it at the bar. When the weather is nice, they open the garage door and there's a large outside patio that's great. The bartenders are all chill and really nice, it might be kind of a sweetheart gig. This is the perfect spot to grab 2 beers and a burger on the way home from work.Don't let the uncertain setup discourage you. Just go into whole foods and walk left, it's a legit bar. Check it out!“

Sidetrack Brewing Company Brewery • $
413 2nd St SW, Albuquerque

“10/10.. super cool and divey in a good way.. awesome selection and super chill attitude of the bartenders. somewhere to duck into away from the riff raff.. even as a new patron i feel welcomed, which is rare these days and refreshing experience from the clanism of many bars. theres various portion sizes to select to. very good value. very good beer. it shares a back patio with zendo coffee that has a very urban cozy corner feel, both inside and on patio. they have overhanging heaters on. intsead of redbull and vodka (aka battery acid) i can get some beer and some caffiene on the same patio which is much healthier than redbull and hard liquor. as a fan of coors light the grolsh was awesome.“

Paxton's Taproom Albuquerque Bar • $

“Great taproom style storefront with loads of local brews on tap, along with ciders. All local so if you want your Coors-latte, go somewhere else—only real beer served here. Awesome selection of flavors with multiple options per style of beverages to your liking. Get your brew for about $8/pint and get some great food from the other stores in Sawmill.“

“My husband and I go here fairly often for lunch since it's close to our work... Today our waitress, Shannon, was the BEST by far!! Usually the waitresses just "do their job" and the bare minimum of friendliness.. Shannon actually spoke TO us and checked on us often and was outgoing and friendly... You can tell she cares about her customers and her job. Maybe the other waitresses there should either be trained better or just find different jobs where they don't have to talk to people..lol.. Shannon, you are awesome!?“
