Quarter Celtic Taproom Reviews
Was our go to local spot only a block away…. Portions are small. Never got apps… this has been declining since Covid. Ordered bangers fish and chips and scotch egg. 24.50????? A 1/4 scoop of mash 1/2 scoop of pickled onions and cabbage… a tiny piece of fish. 10 fries … never got appetizers. Awful. Won’t be going back ever.
Thank you to everyone who recommended Quarter Celtic as having the best fish and chips in the area I moved to NM from a very small fishing town on the OR Coast, so am rather picky about fish and chips as the cod came directly from the ocean and was caught by local fishermen. Hard to live up to that. Quarter Celtic exceeded my expectations! Great atmosphere and service, too. One of the owners sat down to chat for a bit. Everything a brewpub should be. Great beer, great staff, great food. Can’t wait to get back to ABQ to stop by again.

Quarter Celtic Taproom offers good food and beer with friendly service. They are known for being the only brewpub serving mead. The corned beef and cabbage is a must-try, and their on-site brewed beers are popular. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but it’s a great spot for tasty Irish pub food with a New Mexican twist. Recently, customers have enjoyed Irish fare in unexpected places, praising the food, including the stew, scotch eggs, and corned beef and cabbage, which were all delicious. The restaurant also has its own brews and cocktails. The space features high ceilings and a large, cozy environment. Customers often find the seating easier on weekends, but during the week, one side of the restaurant might be closed. Visitors have enjoyed their meals on quiet days, although wait times for fish and chips can be a bit long, and some fries might be overdone or soggy. The food is consistently good and flavorful, with servers and bar staff praised for their friendly attitude and quick service. The menu includes favorites like fried green chile strips, the Reuben, and patty melts, while salads and fried pickles are also popular. Overall, it remains an enjoyable spot for Irish pub favorites with a local twist.
