The vibe is super relaxed but still lively good music, no pretentious energy, just a solid bar where you can actually hear your friends talk. The bartenders were on point and had some great cocktail recommendations. I went with their spicy marg and it was fire.
There’s a cool little patio in the back that makes it feel like a hidden gem right in the middle of downtown Albuquerque. It’s a great place to kick back with friends, whether you’re starting your night or winding down after dinner.
This place has definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation. If you’re looking for a local bar with personality, great drinks, and good energy, Red Door Downtown nails it.

Red Door Downtown is one of the best bars in Albuquerque for cocktails, local energy, and chill late night vibes. Right on Central Ave, it’s a perfect stop whether you’re bar hopping, out on a date, or catching a show nearby. The atmosphere is unmatched great music, friendly staff, and a hidden back patio that’s perfect for hanging out.
The drink menu is solid with some of the best cocktails in the city. You get that casual, neighborhood bar feel with the quality of an upscale lounge. Service is quick, the location is prime, and the whole spot just feels like a staple in the downtown ABQ nightlife scene.
Highly recommend Red Door Downtown if you’re exploring Albuquerque bars, looking for nightlife near Central, or want a laid back place with great drinks and local flavor.

Went here to catch a comedy show and catch up with a friend. The patio was great and I was thrilled to be able to catch a new song from Athiest Robot P***y censored so the review will stand. Enjoyed the show and was glad to have caught it. This place feels like a welcoming local hangout that you would want to support and keep around.

One thing that's really nice about this and not that nice is that this place is not very busy. Going on a Friday night, it was really great to be able to get a place to sit and obtain a drink very quickly. The staff was nice. The drink was stiff. I don't really have any complaints other than there wasn't much of an atmosphere otherwise. Definitely low-key.

This is random but this review is specifically for the crispy chicken cobb salad I ordered from here on DoorDash.
I've had Red Door beers plenty but have never been to this location in person.
Anyways, the crispy chicken cobb salad I ordered from here on Doordash a few weeks back was insanely good.
It didn't re-invent the wheel or do anything new, but it was hands down the best salad I have had in I don't know how long. All the toppings were super fresh and perfectly prepared, and the chicken itself was crispy, juicy and perfectly seasoned all at the same time.
This was one of those simple menu items that was stellar because of how well prepared and fresh everything was on it's own. As a former chef & caterer, I really love to see it!
Just wanted to let you guys know that I crave that salad for lunch every week now.
Your back of house deserves a round of pints 🤘

My husband and I stopped here for an early dinner on a Sunday after someone sitting out front waved us in to say how good it was. They were right!! My husband ordered the BLAT. I ordered the chicken finger Cobb salad. Both were wonderful!
We also had two Sierra Nevada hazy ipas. All in a great early dinner!

Praid for the kitchen! Late-night kitchen that fed me the best Green Chile Smashed Cheeseburger in a long time. It slaps. Garlic aioli, hot diced green chile, melted cheddar. Plus a generous amlunt of lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion on the side to build your burger up.
I ordered regular fries, but I ate the smashburger over the fries, so it became 'landed fries' from drippings, haha!
The bar: full service bar with the regular offerings, plus some unique cocktails.
Beer: many localfavorites, regional craft, and national classics. I went with Santa Fe Brewery's NMX Lager. Can't go wrong.
Vibe: it varies, but tonight was a DJ that played mashups of 90s rave and SF queen with hip-hop. This could pass for any bar in Berlin tonight.
Downtown late-night eats needed? Give this place a shot!
