Best Chinese we’ve had so far in Albuquerque. My wife is from New Jersey and her craving was finally satisfied. The service was awesome, the prices were right, and the food was delicious!

Rising Star is our absolute go to for Chinese food. The staff always treats us so kindly. We order from here weekly if not twice a week. That is how good their food is. The freshness, taste and authenticity cannot be beat. Their prices are affordable. Their restaurant is so clean and well kept. We love to order the General Tso chicken, Orange Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp lo mein, just to name a few! This is a definite Gem hidden in the NE heights. Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

Excellent service. They even have a very cool functional drive up window for call in order. Yeah! Look out panda. Wonton soup excellent no mushy. Hot and sour soup excellent Both soups visually steamy hot. Excellent spring roll. Extra spicy kung poa wasn’t hot. But a fresh clean bottle of Siracha fixed that. Edamame hot and well seasoned. Great liming and chow fun noodles. Fried Calmari was pricy for a small portion of 6 what looked like onion rings but tasted incredible. The service is fabulous. Thank you Tising Star !!

We got two meals to-go with an order of crab rangoon.
Pepper steak meal - there was hardly any food. It was slightly bigger than an appetizer. The meal was bland and dry.
General Tso chicken - aqequate quantity of food, but dry and bland.
Crab rangoon - minimal to no filling, extremely dried out, and overcooked

The service is convenient and friendly
The quality of food is severely lacking.

We all had dinner combination plates (around $11.95 each) They included soup, egg roll, and 2 main dishes. I had to take half my food home for lunch the next day. Food was tasty and service was fast & friendly.

At one time, Rising Star made exceptional dishes. Its been a while since that was the case. I know the ownership has changed, maybe more than once over the years. The last several times we've eaten there (both in person and take out) the food is of lower and lower quality. For example the chicken is dry and tough, the egg rolls are small and tasteless, and the fried rice just lacks the flavors it once had. For the cost, it's just not worth it. I hate to leave such a negative review, but we've tried the food here multiple times to give them a chance. I doubt we will be eating here again.
