4 of us, birthday & anniversary celebrations. Dining room smell was horrible, carpet dirty, oil stains, table top sticky & dirty. Sushi very good. Salmon tasted old & was overcooked. Steak fatty & overcooked. Chicken good.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant of all time š I've gone there so much to the point that the owner recognizes me lol. She's really sweet and when I'm there we usually talk for a few minutes. I go there at really any chance I can. I think my favorite sushi roll is Sex on the Beach, but if you ask them to add cream cheese IT'S SO MUCH BETTERRRR
I also really like the udon but I don't typically order it because I get full really quick haha. AND the 420 roll is super cool, it's my dad's favorite and if you wanna try something unique I say get that š
I normally go to the regular dining area but once I tried the Hibachi area and the cook we had was amazing and made a wonderful unforgettable experience.
If you decide to go here you definitely won't regret it!!

My boyfriend and I stopped into Samurai Grill for a quick bite around 2:00 PM on a Sunday, and we were not disappointed! We were seated quickly at the bar and decided to try four different rolls ā every single one was absolutely amazing. Honestly, itās the best sushi Iāve had in New Mexico so far.
The highlight for me was that they serve authentic wasabi made fresh in-house from the root. You can truly taste the difference. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and the gentleman preparing the sushi rolls clearly has a passion for his craft. You could see how proud he was of the work he does, which made the experience even better.
The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed ā perfect for a casual date or a nice meal out. Theyāre open less than 40 hours a week, and Iāve heard Friday and Saturday nights are their busiest, so plan accordingly.
I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great sushi and a welcoming atmosphere. Weāll definitely be back!

Grill for 1 person, seated right away. The restaurant wasnāt busy nor loud. My waitress was very attentive and friendly! The chef was decent. Food was flying everywhere and ended up on the table more than peopleās plates. I asked for yum-yum sauce and got spicy mayo instead, theyāre NOT the same. No ginger sauce even offered to the table. Scallops couldāve been cooked longer. Shrimp was overcooked.
Overall, this restaurant didnāt WOW me. It did the job and was accurately priced. I doubt Iāll be coming back solely based on them not having yum-yum sauce.

Our go-to spot when we come into the city! The best sushi weāve had in ABQ - the 420 roll is š¤š¼ and the magic shrimp for an appetizer with some spicy edamame! Rachel is usually our server and she is amazing! Havenāt had anything bad here. Get over here losers, youāre missing out!

We come here pretty regularly, but just learned it's also local--not a chain. And they fly in their fish to avoid freezing, and the service is great.
Plus the Ramen is above chicken noodle soup as treatment for a common cold.

I paid 50 for 3 types of sushi rolls and when my order was brought there were only 5 pieces of sushi in EACH ROLL and was charged $50! When asked why I only had half servings they told me the chef always makes rolls with only 5 pieces which is an absolute lie as Iāve eaten here multiple times. The chef refused to make more rolls and refused to give me a refund. The unprofessionalism cost them a client. EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE
