I’m sure it’s delicious… made it right after they closed so did not get a chance to try. I was driving from California back to Pennsylvania so could not go back the next day to try. This was my second attempt in less than a year. ?

If I had to choose a last meal before dying it would be a Ruben from Bocadillos in NM. This place should be nation wide. The food was great the ladies inside cooking were friendly not to mention pretty! If Bocadillos had a location in Dallas I’d eat there everyday. Great job ladies!

Came in today and they were pleasant and informative. We were from out of town and took their suggestions and were impressed with their food. 2 of us got the corned beef which was amazing and another got the cheese steak and it looked delicious. We heard them saying they loved people as they left so we told them we loved them and it was returned, and yes we felt loved. Thank you for making our stay even better!

delicious sandwiches, fries and potato salad.

The sandwiches are delicious and the staff is really friendly. However, get it to go as their little eat in area is tiny and uncomfortable. Also they have no ice and the canned drinks are not really very well chilled.

Been wanting to come here since I saw it on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. I'll be coming to Albuquerque next month and can't wait to hit this place up... if Guy and one of my childhood best friend says it's awesome. I know it's going to be five stars like almost all of the reviews. That Ruben is just waiting for me.

I had high expectations and they way surpassed. Great people, outstanding food. I wish my stomach was larger!

Great food. Orders are cooked as the orders come in so be ready for about a 20 to 25 minute wait. But it is worth the wait. One downside. The fries portion seem a little skimmpy.

Very friendly good service, and one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while.

Finding the place can be a pain Parking can be a pain The long line can be a pain, but there's good reason for it The wait can be a pain, but your food will be fresh The sandwiches are superb and the sides are excellent. The food is worth the effort.

The food is as amazing as it was described to me for two long years. I have waited this long to finally eat here and it was worth every single bit. First the service was wonderful. The cashier was jovial, kind, funny, and knew the menu inside and out. She offered great suggestions. The service was timed right for made to order. The food, especially if you are a meataterian (ok, my son made that word up when he was about eight – he didn’t want to be known as a vegetarian), is downright decadently amazing. Tender, well-seasoned, and oh so tasty (but a little too salty for my tastebuds). Glad I managed to get here before the lunch hour rush because it did become super busy while I waited for our order. I would only change a few things. 1. Please get rid of the Styrofoam containers – there are better other options out there. 2. When cutting a sandwich or baguette, please cut it in half, not 1/3-2/3. I had planned on sharing with a friend and I ended up with a very small piece for his very large piece. 3. When doing take outs, please add a few napkins inside the bag – the great greasy food does stick to one’s fingers and needs wiping. 4. The word is aujus, not ajus (The Big Dipper). I had the Big Dipper (chuck roast on a baguette), my friend had The Duke City Ruben on rye (their most renown sandwich). The Ruben, as I said above was not cut in ½ so it became a little difficult to share it equally. The Big Dipper was also cut in an odd way but this time I got the bigger piece. We had a side order of fries and again, although a little too salty for my taste, they were crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and well-seasoned. Anyway – I don’t want to spend too much time on these small details – there is always room for improvement. The food was amazing. The staff super-welcoming. The ambiance was good even if it’s mostly a food pick-up type place (very few seats, maybe 6 or 8?), everyone was cheerful and happy to be there. It’s a small hole in the wall type place that packs a great punch. I will be back, but I’m glad I don’t live too close. It would be dangerous for my health. On a side note, they are opening a NM cuisine restaurant at the corner of Roma and Fourth called My Mom’s. Can’t wait for the opening and I wish them luck. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy
