“A great, lively atmosphere. The food was 1st class, and our server Jude was fun and engaging. There was a little 10min wait, but no problem. We reviewed the menu and relaxed, and were ready when Jude arrived. Everything arrived exactly as ordered, and we added To-Go entrées at the end for our late night dinner. I only wish I’d gotten some take home brew … their offerings are very appealing…. I won’t forget them next time.“

“I got the Wilber sandwich and it was exactly what I expected. The Okra is what took me by surprise. It was fried to perfection!! The Barbeque sauce had a very nice consistency and flavor. I would love if you offered it in a "thrill seekers" version.Fantastic service!! The only person that assisted me was the girl behind the counter from start to finish. She even made my food. The other workers were on break, so shout out to her!!“

“Food is always great. Service is always very good. Although given the number of employees I think it could be better by a little bit. There are a lot very interesting posters and pics on the walls. However that doesn't disguise the fact that this is a repurposed fast food building. So Frank's appeal is in the food, friendliness, and friends. Last complaint is that only wings and nuggets are on the menu. I want thighs and legs. Having said all that, I still love Frank's.“

J. Gumbo's Cajun • $

“I consider myself a Louisiana native. The crawfish etoufee wasnt bad. It was good enough to make me want to return and try the shrimp gumbo, red beans, etc.My only regret is that they don't offer boudin. Nothing says "we are a Cajun kitchen" like boudin or homemade cracklins.“

Familia Bolivar Soul Food •
1400 Isleta Blvd SW, Albuquerque

“Quinceaneras? Do you know what it is? Probably not, unless you are a 15 year-old girl . . . or your family is originally from a Latin American country that celebrates this time in a girl's life. Fiesta de Quince Años. Basically, it means PARTY! PARTY! and the most beautiful dress you have ever had. Originally the dresses were white or pastel . . . but not today. Today they are any color of the rainbow that you want. Deep, rich colors with lots of ruffles, fluff, layers and bling. Where do you get such a dress? Well, "Hamiel Bridals and Quinceaneras" has just the dress any young girl would dream of wearing to her party. . . . or her wedding. Hamiel also carries a large selection of wedding dresses. I was lucky enough to attend an in-house Yelp Event with an introduction to the owner. Successful businesses are built by owners/founders who have a real passion and care about their customers. Carmen Bolivar is one of those passionate owners. Caring about each and every Quinceaneras and Wedding Party. The "Bridal" Dress Shop is attached to the large event space. The dresses run the gambit from simple and elegant to elaborate with bling and fluff. Whatever you have been dreaming of since you were a little girl. I know, I know, you Guys, if you are reading this, don't really care. You just want your lady to look beautiful. Well, this is the place for her to get that dream dress and for you to go all googly-eyed when she walks down that isle towards you. I've been married twice. Never had a real wedding dress. Do you think I could get one and just wear it on special occasions? Carmen has so many to choose from . . . it would be hard to decide. Dreaming of a Quinceaneras Party or a Family Wedding? Go meet Carmen and have her show you the Event Center and the opportunities Hamiel can provide.“
