Really great restaurant. Food is great. Service is great. Love this place. There is a really good looking man who is a sushi chef and occasionally waits tables. He gets 5 stars too for keeping up the beauty in ABQ.
The sushi roll and 25 piece sashimi were both really good. Fish tasted fresh and the sashimi pieces were generous and had nice textures. They served the sashimi platter with fresh wasabi which was a delicious surprise.
Staff was nice enough, but they really never came back to check on us or refill our water. I had to flag down another server to get more ginger. We were sitting at the sushi bar, so maybe that’s a part of it since our backs are turned.

Typically I love Tamashi, but the last 2 visits the food has been saltier than needed, no dedicated server which is annoying, and it was cold inside. I'll go back, but I hope they make some adjustments.
