Teriyaki Madness

I was going to have delivery service from the restaurant, but then as I put my order in, I changed my mind and decided just to go and pick it up after putting my order in online. I received a time that I could pick up my food by 7:44 PM. I got there to the restaurant at 6:35 and there was a long line waiting out the door. I decided to get in line and figured that by the time I got to the front to ask for my order, I would probably have to wait maybe another 5 to 8 minutes Before they would have my order ready. When I got to the front of the counter, I showed the girl my order on my phone and she asked me if that was a DoorDash order and I told her no that I changed it from DoorDash to me picking it up myself so then she looked at my phone and scrolled through it and then saw where I had changed it from delivery to pick up and went to check but never came back to respond and tell me when my order would be ready. finally after 10 minutes, and another girl asked me if I had been helped and I told her no that I was waiting for them to tell me how much longer on my order. I showed her my phone and she went to check and came back and said that because I changed it from delivery to pickup, there were now 10 to 11 orders in front of mine!!! I don’t agree that my order should’ve been pushed down that far down just because I changed it from delivery to pick up. I even received a text message telling me that even though I changed it from delivery to pick up my food just should still have been ready by 7:44 pm. It doesn’t make any sense for them to push it that far down just because I changed it from delivery to pick up. The fact that they were still making it, they should’ve just given it to me at 7:44 PM!! It was very annoying And I know a lot of other customers they seemed very upset and angry as well. I saw two customers ask for their manager that night and one of them she got her order right away as soon as she talked to the manager. And they even offered her a free drink for having to make her wait. I don’t know if they screwed up her order or if they just didn’t have it ready when she got there, but whatever her reason was, they gave her her order right away after she talked to the manager. I was just about to do that and I decided to ask them again how much longer on my order and I decided I was just going to keep bugging them until they got it out to me and if not, I was just gonna ask for the manager myself. It is not acceptable to make someone wait even longer just because they change from delivery to pick up, especially when they still started making the food it was already being made!! They need new management there. They need to do something about that stupid rule that if you change it from one to another that you have to wait even longer, that’s stupid!!!

I can’t give a review of this place, because l, after waiting more than 30 minutes for my order, I just left and then called for (and got) a refund. Not ready, not today at 5 pm, for prime time. The dining room was too small and while the kitchen staff seemed to fill the tiny kitchen, there were too many customers, and in particular to many 3Rd party delivery drivers picking up meals, to provide even adequate service to the in store customers. “Liz” helped us get our refund over the phone and she was plainly anxious to work but the first cashier a young woman with braces-was about as happy to be on the job as a pet rock.

This is one Great place to come and eat . Excellent food employees are amazing very clean just a great atmosphere .Most definitely will be back 🙂 Liz was amazing do kind I’m very satisfied Thank you Teriyaki Madness

UPDATE: employees and environment seem better, only complaint now is wait time, came in at 8pm Sunday, I was the only one in the dining area, waited 40 minutes for food. If that is normal with all their take out orders, I'd say call ahead, definitely not a place to grab a quick bite. Plan at least an hour if you order and eat here.

Delicious chicken bowl! Huge portions and priced well. Way more flavor than Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. I’ll be going back to try the orange chicken :)

Great food and great service. The spicy teriyaki is incredible. The only problem is it's such a tiny place, there's only like five or 6 tables. Next time I go, I will go at 1:00 p.m. instead of noon

First let's start off with the bad. Only reason for 3 stars on atmosphere is it is very small on the inside and the place gets busy so it's very crammed in there. Really my only complaint. Now for the good. Service was great. All employees were very friendly and provided great service. Customers inside were a different breed of customers and were all very polite which adds to a great atmosphere. I ordered the large chicken terriyaki combo with a chicken egg roll. The portion size was great for the price. It was enough to feed myself and 3 kids. The terriyaki sauce was great, some of the best I've had. The food was just all around delicious. My husband on nights I don't cook always goes and gets himself terriyaki from another restaurant so I will have to introduce him to Terriyaki Madness because this will definitely be my new go to place.

The food was amazing. And the portions were a good size as well. I got the double protein with an extra side of chicken. I do wish there were more veggies though.
