I got the Wilber sandwich and it was exactly what I expected. The Okra is what took me by surprise. It was fried to perfection!! The Barbeque sauce had a very nice consistency and flavor. I would love if you offered it in a "thrill seekers" version.Fantastic service!! The only person that assisted me was the girl behind the counter from start to finish. She even made my food. The other workers were on break, so shout out to her!!

I got a pulled pork sandwich and a side of greens. The pulled pork sandwich itself wasn't bad, but without the sauce it seemed a bit dry. The sauce that came with it did a lot of the heavy lifting, which I'm guessing is the point but overall it wasn't bad. The collard greens were my favorite though, personally I liked the tanginess of them. I might be back to try some of the other food!

We ordered catering for a work celebration today, ? yum!! Very impressed with their food! The BBQ, brisket potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw and collard greens were all amazing. Thank you for providing food for us today. You know it's good when you can't stop thinking about when you can go back for another

This place is fire!!! I was a little skeptical when they said 20 minutes for the fried chicken but it was worth the wait and I will definitely be back for more! Bbq rids, fried okra, fried pickles, fried chicken, collard greens, and peach cobbler was the perfect cheat day meal! Only regret is not having a big enough stomach to fit it all into hahaha my new fave grinds in town! Thank you all for opening up this restaurant!

TL;DR: most of the food was good, but the brisket was subpar.I have been here twice and based this review off of the varied experience with the food. Overall, the pork products are great. Sausage is bangin', pulled pork is good. I also had the shrimp and grits which was a pleasant surprise to see on the menu, and didn't disappoint. I would have preferred it a bit less runny but I know that's preference to some degree. The bbq beans were also decent, albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. Could be dialed back a bit.My biggest criticism is the brisket I had. I'll admit to being highly biased, having eaten a lot of good BBQ in Texas. Some of the basic attributes I expect from brisket are tenderness, good moisture, and well-seasoned bark based on salt and pepper. Some of this is dependent on the quality of beef and some is dependent on preparation. I will go further by acknowledging that this place is decidedly a Carolina style BBQ place, and beef is historically a lesser priority for this style.Taking that all into consideration, the brisket I had was dry, under seasoned, and tough, bordering on rubbery. I usually love LOVE bark, but the bark here was so flossy and unpleasant. I had a lot left over, and even chopping up and slathering it sauce at home didn't help too much. It was just hard to eat.I will go back some other day for more sausage and maybe to try the ribs, but I'll pass over the brisket. Maybe it will get better in the future.
