Tonight my family and I, a group of five stopped at this restaurant on our way home from Bernalillo. We just happened to see it on the side of Corrales Rd and decided to stop in and give it a try. We were underwhelmed to say the least when we entered the establishment. We walked up to the counter and the hostess asked us how many and she then pointed to a table for us to seat ourselves. Not the end of the world but also not very welcoming. The items on the menu read decent but the prices were steep for what they had to offer. The hostess was also our waitress and our food came out plate by plate five minutes apart. Still not the end of the world but by the time the last plate came out which was mine everyone else’s food was cold. My plate was made incorrectly as I asked for double beans and no rice plus an extra enchilada and still received rice and beans and no extra enchilada. I informed our waitress and she said sorry and that was that. No remake or anything. When we got the receipt there was a cash price total, a card price total and an automatic gratuity of 18%. When she brought my receipt back with my card the total was different and higher than anything on the original receipt. I did not complain I just won’t ever be returning.

The food portion was small for price. Inaccurate descriptions on menu. Ordered the tostadas expecting chile torreado but got a cortido instead. There was also no salsa when we went. Our server also brought us the wrong plates. Enchiladas suizas were super sour. Very disappointed overall.

This place was incredible. Service was top notch and food was perfectly delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this place was an unexpected happy surprise. I had the spinach and mushroom enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. The tangy sauce balanced out the blend of veggies and ricotta cheese perfectly for a unique vegetarian dish. The food is in the style of Michoacàn, Mexico. Lots of great seafood. The beans and rice are fresh and flavorful. Finish your meal with Cafe de olla and a flan. The service was great too. Very friendly.

I went because they call themselves a Mexican restaurant, but no, I was expecting real Michoacan food like it says on FB, but nothing.

The food was pretty much the best tasting food in Albuquerque that I’ve tasted in a LONG time! I’ll be back and am hoping it’s just as good next time. The owners were the ones cooking and the same plates that came out always looked the same.

Food was amazing and auténtica cooked by 3 lovely ladies. Service was amazing, the place was clean and nice. Will definitely be going back. The café de olla was AMAZING!!!
