Everything about this place was an unexpected happy surprise. I had the spinach and mushroom enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. The tangy sauce balanced out the blend of veggies and ricotta cheese perfectly for a unique vegetarian dish. The food is in the style of Michoacàn, Mexico. Lots of great seafood. The beans and rice are fresh and flavorful. Finish your meal with Cafe de olla and a flan. The service was great too. Very friendly.
The food was pretty much the best tasting food in Albuquerque that I’ve tasted in a LONG time! I’ll be back and am hoping it’s just as good next time. The owners were the ones cooking and the same plates that came out always looked the same.

When your birthday falls on a holiday and a Monday, the choice of restaurants is limited. So we tried a place that we had been wanting to go and am so glad we did. The food was so good and good value. Good selection of beers. Service was excellent. This was a winner!
