I had to wait 10 minutes for my sandwich after ordering ahead. my smoothie was clearly watered down. Service was poor, the man who gave me my food was rude. I don’t usually complain, but I will not come to this location ever again.

This place is going down fast over the last two months. Customer service is at 50% and my last two visits machines have been down or they are out of something. Business owner needs to get into the location and start paying attention. Kids working location with no direction. Not coming back for 30 days. Kid taking my order thought he was being cute by making grunting sounds at drive up. This place will be out of business soon if something doesn’t change fast. I like the food but not going to keep going back and
a bad experience each time.

Honestly this was probably the worst experience I have ever had. We went at 6:30ish on January 2nd and a boy in a blue shirt took our order. We didn’t get a “welcome in” or a hello, nothing. As soon as we got to the counter he said “are you guys ready” and we said no not yet and he told us to take our time. While we were ordering he kept interrupting us and he was just flat out being unprofessional. It seemed like it was just playtime for him and the other people working there, like they weren’t taking their jobs serious. Even to other customers he just seemed rude. We asked for our receipt and it took him a while to to find it, why? Because the front counter was overflowed with other peoples receipts and the printer was out of paper so he had to ask someone to put paper in the machine. You could clearly tell he didn’t care about his job, the boy needs some better customer service training. We got our drinks and left and it tasted so watered down with barely any flavor. I’ve had tropical smoothie plenty of times and I have never been so disappointed in my life. Please train your employees or at least have someone there that is mature enough to lead these boys.

Went through drive thru, quick and easy, smoothies were made well. I hadn’t noticed the large amount of 1-star reviews before we went, and thankfully we had zero issues and no complaints. Employees were courteous and helpful in answering our questions. We ordered the Peanut Paradise and the Bahama Mama.

If only your drive thru is going to be open, then there should be signage indicating this. Horrendous business practice, but that seems par for the course for this location based on the plethora of other 1-star reviews.

I usually get the same few smoothies whenever I go to any tropical, so I ordered a regular and it tasted awful. The colour wasn’t even right.
I tried this location again today after a few months, got a different smoothie and it was still really disappointing. Won’t be coming back. The tropical on Las Estancias has been great anytime I go and the staff is way friendlier.

This location employs some of the most disrespectful and rude team members of any establishments I've seen. Several times I've visited this location and witnessed two of them arguing in front of me. After I placing my order at the register I hear from the back of the restaurant one employee screaming and cursing at his colleague. The gentleman taking my order had to look over at the two screaming and yelling to let them know to calm down as there is someone in the dining area. Most recently I was in the drive thru picking up an online order and was told I had to go inside to pick up the order as this would ruin and run up their drive thru time. I've never had issues picking up before in the past and have never had issues at other locations. Apparently this is a "new policy" of which is a moot point now since I'm in line with a car in front and behind me and cannot move. Needless to say they refused to help me and made me go inside. Once inside, I voiced my concerns and dissatisfaction asking to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told they can't give out any of that information. I was then told to leave and that if I dont like the service at that location to stop ordering there. After not being given any contact information to corporate or their supervisor and being given the runaround I took a photo of the employees so that I can show the manager the next time I stop by. Showing no remorse for their actions, they all stood there and smiled acting like their behavior was justified and funny

Worst tropical smoothie ive ever been to. Lack of any customer service at all.. i placed an online order and they were very late to making the order. They work slow and treat the job like they just dont care. Definitely a teen ran store because they have 0 work ethic. Hire more real adults at this location, you're giving a terrible look to your store with the people youve hired.

My granddaughter placed an order and asked me to pick it up on my way to her house. When I arrived at Tropical Cafe I told the girl behind the counter that this was my first visit and I wasn't familiar with what I needed to do. She said my order would be ready in a few minutes. A few minutes later she called my name and gave me 3 smoothies. Since I didn't place the order I assumed I had received everything. I put the drinks in the holder and got straws and left the shop. Apparently there was also food but no one said anything about my not getting my entire order. I was parked right outside the door so someone could have simply opened the door and said i didn't have my complete order...but they watched me leave. When I got to my Granddaughter's house she asked where the food was. That's when I realized no one at Tropical Cafe told me I didn't have my complete order. We called and asked for our money back and were told it wasn't possible to give a refund but I could return to the shop and they would give me what I didn't get. I went later in the afternoon and picked up my food. I mentioned to the manager that I had told the girl I had never been there before and maybe she could have been a little more attentive. The manager smiled at me...turned her head and rolled her eyes like I was a huge inconvenience. I am 74 years old and I wasn't familiar with the shop or the order. Also...while I waited i noticed a dirty pair of cleaning gloves in the middle of the table.
