This location employs some of the most disrespectful and rude team members of any establishments I've seen. Several times I've visited this location and witnessed two of them arguing in front of me. After I placing my order at the register I hear from the back of the restaurant one employee screaming and cursing at his colleague. The gentleman taking my order had to look over at the two screaming and yelling to let them know to calm down as there is someone in the dining area. Most recently I was in the drive thru picking up an online order and was told I had to go inside to pick up the order as this would ruin and run up their drive thru time. I've never had issues picking up before in the past and have never had issues at other locations. Apparently this is a "new policy" of which is a moot point now since I'm in line with a car in front and behind me and cannot move. Needless to say they refused to help me and made me go inside. Once inside, I voiced my concerns and dissatisfaction asking to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told they can't give out any of that information. I was then told to leave and that if I dont like the service at that location to stop ordering there. After not being given any contact information to corporate or their supervisor and being given the runaround I took a photo of the employees so that I can show the manager the next time I stop by. Showing no remorse for their actions, they all stood there and smiled acting like their behavior was justified and funny

Worst tropical smoothie ive ever been to. Lack of any customer service at all.. i placed an online order and they were very late to making the order. They work slow and treat the job like they just dont care. Definitely a teen ran store because they have 0 work ethic. Hire more real adults at this location, you're giving a terrible look to your store with the people youve hired.

My granddaughter placed an order and asked me to pick it up on my way to her house. When I arrived at Tropical Cafe I told the girl behind the counter that this was my first visit and I wasn't familiar with what I needed to do. She said my order would be ready in a few minutes. A few minutes later she called my name and gave me 3 smoothies. Since I didn't place the order I assumed I had received everything. I put the drinks in the holder and got straws and left the shop. Apparently there was also food but no one said anything about my not getting my entire order. I was parked right outside the door so someone could have simply opened the door and said i didn't have my complete order...but they watched me leave. When I got to my Granddaughter's house she asked where the food was. That's when I realized no one at Tropical Cafe told me I didn't have my complete order. We called and asked for our money back and were told it wasn't possible to give a refund but I could return to the shop and they would give me what I didn't get. I went later in the afternoon and picked up my food. I mentioned to the manager that I had told the girl I had never been there before and maybe she could have been a little more attentive. The manager smiled at me...turned her head and rolled her eyes like I was a huge inconvenience. I am 74 years old and I wasn't familiar with the shop or the order. Also...while I waited i noticed a dirty pair of cleaning gloves in the middle of the table.

Food was made incorrectly. Staff was unhelpful and would not resolve the problem or issue a refund. Customer service was EXTREMELY poor, including the “help” (rolls eyes) of the general manager. I’ll never return to this location again.

After placing my order over the phone with a young man, I drove right over, arriving 2 minutes past closing. The doors were locked. When I called to talk to them through the glass, they said they threw away the smoothie I ordered. They also said they don't take orders over the phone and they wouldn't be remaking my smoothie.

Upon entering the drive-thru, (at the 6400 Holly Ave, location) I was greeted by an associate with an apathetic tone, and a profusely bleeding finger. The associate had an open wound, and was handling food. Admittedly, I should have driven away at this point- but regretfully did not. My order was completely wrong. I ordered an item, and requested that no onion be added to it. It seems they added extra onion. The second item I ordered was burnt to a crisp, and seemed to be lacking any ingredients. I had driven a long distance from the restaurant before realizing they had completely botched my order. The service was over all dreadful, and I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this location.

So I pull into the drive thru and my order was taken by a teenage girl whom obviously has so customer service experience. Sat in the drive through for 15 minutes waiting on one smoothie that was at best average tasting. Don’t waste your time and money here. They hire teens then don’t train them. Do better management.

Honestly at this point, I’m so over Tropical Smoothie. Do the people they hire not understand customer service at all? Teenage boys with shitty attitudes that just talk to each other over the headset instead of paying attention to customers. So annoying
I love the açaí bowls and I understand the tariffs but every single time I come to tropical cafe all the way from Tramway they never have 2 things that match. I call ahead of time to ask if they have all ingredients needed for açaí bowl. When I arrive there always missing something. Lately it’s been bananas and that’s the most important part of my bowl.
I placed my order online and when I arrived the cashier at the window looked at me weird bc I am a FEMALE with short curly hair and my order was under Sara but he looked at me and questioned if I was the Sara. Just very unprofessional.
