So Coffee is great. Not sure about their service. I have never got a smile, a thank you or your welcome. I leave 25-30% tip every time. Maybe they don’t like the color of my skin. Or I’m a man. Time will tell.

There would be more stars... I was becoming a regular here just buying a coffee and hanging out. Until the owner or whoever he was, asked me to buy more or leave. It's not my kind of coffee shop with a strictly business attitude.

Nice seating area, quick bites and pastries. My latte wasn't great, tasted more like an iced coffee, not creamy and rich enough for me even though it was with whole milk

Fun laid back coffee shop with friendly staff. I appreciate being able to have so many gluten free options, not to mention they’re delicious! The beef and green chile empanada is my favorite and they always have tasty sweets. I’m not a coffee drinker but my husband says it’s good.

The best little coffee and pastry shop. As someone with celiac disease, I love feeling normal being able to come to a place where I know I’m never going to get sick.

I always get the gluten free empanada, the ESPRESSO chocolate MUFFIN!!!!, and a vanilla bean freeze add matcha!!

The service is great I am not sure why but everytime I come to get my lattes they are not as tasty as the other location in rio rancho even though it is further from me I prefer that one instead.

I will start off by saying, I don't drink coffee. I was meeting up with some friends and this was the selected spot. The real reason I am writing the review is because how friendly the staff were. It felt like I was in someone's home and they were providing that level of care and attentiveness. I ordered a GF Chocolate muffin, and no, I am not Gluten intolerant, it just looked good. They offered to warm it up for me and when I said nah, the dude behind the counter did me a solid and highly recommend I have it warmed up. I am so glad I listened because the center was perfectly under cooked and gooey, kinda like a lava cake. And they served it to me on a real plate and gave me a fork. I'm not a caveman, but this was unexpected- I figured I would just eat it like I would any other muffin, with my hands.

Sense I don't drink coffee, I ordered an Italian Soda. And was immediately taken aback by the flavor combos. This time, the batista came in clutch and made a recommendation. And she was spot on.

This place is legit. Way better atmosphere and service than some other chain locations nearby. So skip those places and chill out at WB.

My daughter and I love Whispering Bean! On our visit today (7/13/24), she decided to try a new drink. Unfortunately, she didn't like it, but we didn't mention anything to the staff. However, Austin, one of the employees, noticed and asked how she liked it. When we mentioned she didn't love it, Austin went out of his way to help her find a drink new drink that she would love. He was incredibly helpful and kind. This level of customer service is why we keep coming back. Highly recommend Whispering Bean for their excellent staff, coffee, and great atmosphere.

Update: Had a crummy experience, everyone was moving slow and they forgot my food order and after I asked about it 15 min later they finally prepared it, wild part? it was literally a premade cup (like a literal paper cup) of eggs they microwaved... for over $7, honestly im shocked thats what they call a burrito bowl. If it was busy i would understand but it seemed the baristas were more focused on chatting with each other. Put a bad taste in my mouth and honestly I'll think twice about coming back.

Old review: Really love this spot! Great coffee and amazing service. There is always a new and exciting seasonal drink to try. The food is a must try too. Overall a lovely coffee joint.
