The French Wagu x Angus stew was amazing and very hearty. The Brussels sprouts covered with parmesan also was delicious. The Peanut butter pie has been a long time favorite. Lively place in Seco for dinner.

Fantastic experience in every way. Food and cocktails were incredible—some of the best we have experienced (and we are hard to please!). We shared the mushroom cakes (amazing), beef bourguignon best ever had, and the shrimp/sausage pasta also wonderful. And to accompany the awesome food was our bartender and server, Peyton, who curated such a personal and fun experience with his energy, incredible service and attention to detail! Highly recommend ACEQ for food forward folks who appreciate an all around fantastic experience. Best post experience nugget: owner and head chef, Elijah, was polishing wine glasses, giving kudos to his team and chatting w us like it was his first day on the job…AMAZING leadership for what a great team needs!

Service and food were stellar, each dish had extra details that took them up a notch... Like a homemade tomato chutney and freshly made dressing on the Caesar salad. Wangus beef is amazing. Ring the gong on your way out to cheer on the staff!

I'm from Portugal. The food in my country needs no introduction. I've been in the United States for 3 years and I've never found food here that had the same level of quality and freshness... But yesterday at dinner I was surprised by what I found. The lamb and steak were incredibly fresh and tender. The side dishes, especially the sweet corn, were the best sweet corn I've ever eaten. The dishes were very well prepared and tasty. My congratulations to the chef and his suppliers for the quality of the products (for a chef to make a good dish, it's not just about being the best chef in the world, but also about having the freshest and most quality products). When you have that in your restaurant, the end result can only be of unique excellence.

Must try spot for anyone visiting Taos, Angel Fire, Red River area. The food is fresh and amazing and the hand crafted cocktails are delicious! Very nice atmosphere! The menu isn't very big but that's ok because everything that is on the menu is high quality and tasty! Also, staff are very friendly and attentive. I recommend you call ahead for a reservation!

I had a scallop dish which was excellent. For desert I had a raspberry clafoutis. The clafoutis was a bit too heavy, too much flour, not enough eggs. It could be improved. I drank a glass of California Chardonnay which was very good.
I would normally give ACEQ four stars because of the ambience (too casual) and the noise level. However, the service and the food were totally overwhelming. Brad made each of us six women feel like queens: nothing we asked for went wanting. (And that's saying a lot -- six alpha women, five over the age of 70.). Four of us had the special steak; melted like butter in your mouth, all cooked perfectly. Two had the sablefish; again, exquisite. We shared the key lime pie for dessert -- perfection. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

We wanted to like Aceq. The staff was friendly, and overall, they were very nice. The food was very underwhelming, especially for the price. We ordered the mushroom appetizer, and the tempura batter was so thick that it completely overwhelmed the mushrooms. The appetizer was so crunchy that it almost seemed stale and was hard to chew (like it was stale). The salad was fresh and delicious. We ordered the corn appetizer, which was tasty but so messy to eat - it had to be picked up with your hands, which seemed weird for a more upscale restaurant. When ordering, we asked our server to deliver our appetizers and entrees as "courses," so my husband and I could share and enjoy each plate. They brought all 3 appetizers out at once. When we were less than halfway through the appetizers, our main course arrived. Since the tables were small, there was no room for the main course! We ordered the sablefish for the main course, and the dish was a big disappointment. The spicing and the fish just didn't work together, and we only ate about half of it. The chocolate dessert was okay, but nothing special. The best thing about the meal was the wine, which was excellent. We left disappointed; it didn't feel like our meal and experience were worth it for the price. Our impression was the food and the service were underwhelming. Maybe it was an off night... but we won't be back.
While the food was fantastic, made with innovation with a nod to classic recipes, the service was less than attentive and youthfully condescending. The ambience was spare and spacious, both good things, but the noise level of vaguely techno style music coupled with conversation reverberation made having a conversation difficult. We will be back for the food, but will be more selective where we sit and will be more tolerant of youthful aloofness.
The food at Aceq Restaurant is outstanding! The service was excellent. Unfortunately, one person at one table ruined the entire evening for us because her voice was loud and piercing, and she talked nonstop throughout the evening. The staff was sympathetic but couldn't shut that woman up. They moved us to another room as far away from her as possible, but it was still intolerable. Perhaps some acoustic tile on the ceiling might help alleviate the acoustics issues in the building.
What a delight after an hour and half drive. We were met by a lovely young maître D who was attentive throughout the evening and surpassed only by cheerful and bubbly Amanda. Amanda brought her A-game with historical facts, charm and laughter. She was outstanding, bright eyed and happy to serve. Our food choices guided gently by her were on point and oooo la la the desert (key lime) raised the bar to another level. Thank you Chef Marla...
Attentive service and excellent food. Cocktails were excellent too. Highly recommend.
