Fantastic enchiladas. Makes me proud of Artesia. So thrilled they use beef tallow for cooking as well.

I'm from out of town and visiting for work.
I got the pot roast. I was a bit nervous because it said it was made with ghost pepper on the menu it wasn't very hot at all. You can TASTE the pepper but it's more like a smokey flavor.
It was very good. Not the best pot roast I've ever had but better than most.
The service was fantastic and the atmosphere is unmatched. I sat inside because it was a bit cold but I can imagine sitting at the outside bar and listening to live music.
Bottom line, check this place out if you haven't already. Definitely worth it!

Rosey is a HORRIBLE server! She needs some consumer service courses. Had a party of 10+ and she barely checked on us. Food came out and hour and a half later. This was the last time i will be visiting the establishment. THE ONLY REASON I STOOD WAS BECASUE OF HOW POLIETE BRANDY WAS. So professional and very sympathetic. Thank you brandy for making my night so much better. ROSIE IS HORRIBLE!!!! Will not return because of her.

Very much enjoyed the food and friendly staff. Queso was delicious. Save room for the home made tres leches cake - fantastic!-
We visited this establishment while on vacation in New Mexico. Our waitress, Rose, was a pleasure. She was prompt and provided great service. She was also very personable and crowd favorite amongst the other customers. We ordered the trio dips and chips with a couple of flavored margaritas. The dips weren’t the best and the margaritas were too sweet. They were pretty crowded to start. The bill was pretty high for what we ordered. Not complaining too much just saying the quality of food and drinks didn’t match the total amount spent on it.

I've heard a lot about the Adobe for awhile. When I was invited by some coworkers, I decided to give it a try. Apparently the menu changes depending on the season, which I think is a good thing. But it's a fairly small menu.
After ordering the devil eggs, chips with chorizo and cheese sauce and jalapeño poppers (not pictured), we then also ordered our main meal (photos below). The service was decent, but the main dishes took a while. The appetizers came in the normal amount of time. I viscosity of the cheese and chorizo was very thin. It dripped a lot and there wasn't a lot of flavor, however, for 10 dollars it wasn't terrible.
It took a long time for us to get our main meal, that's also the main reason for 4 stars. The staff didn't acknowledge the wait.
I was very impressed by the size of each plate. Price ranges from $15-23. Presentation was decent. Below you can see: the country fried chicken, county fried chicken on a biscuit with honey, a steak, and a chicken dish that I can't remember the name of. I had the country fried chicken on the garlic mashed potatoes. The gravy had no flavor, the corn was decent, the chicken was good, but the batter on the chicken didn't have that much flavor either. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I really want to try the biscuit with the chicken, so I might go back for that, but that's because I love biscuits.

I sat at the table watching two waitresses blabbing with each other about something for probably 5 minutes before one came by to tell me she’d be right with me. 🙄 The room I was seated in had an overwhelming aroma of creosote. Like an old fashioned telephone pole on a hot day. I thought the food was okay. It would have been substantially better if it had been served hot instead of barely warm. The meatloaf was tasty and there was plenty of it. The mashed potatoes were room temperature and could have been excellent if served hot. The zucchini was good, but again, room temperature. I don’t think the price was objectionable if they were able to get the food served hot.
I am staying at this bed-and-breakfast, which I have really enjoyed, so I thought I’d try the restaurant. It is highly rated, and it lived up to its expectations. The salad was in incredibly fresh with some lovely southwest touches such as corn and shredded tortilla chips. A bit pic, I thought I was getting blue cheese dressing. I actually got crumbled blue cheese, which was lovely, but it made the salad a little bit of dry. The strip steak was very well seasoned, and came out perfectly, medium rare. The loaded potato just topped it all off. Very nice.
We went with friends and had the best time. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun, it wasn't too loud, and we stayed until closing because we were having too much fun to notice the time. Thankfully they didn't complain or kick us out. The food was so delicious. Best in Artesia in my opinion. We will definitely be back.
