“Food...Fajitas were tougher with a slightly different taste about them that I didn't care for. Previously the fajitas were wonderful and we've eaten there numerous times!Service...out within a few minutes.Atmosphere... pleasant.”
“My experience was delightful, I enjoyed my time here, I was hoping for authentic Mexican food but it wasn't on the menu."Artesia New Mexico and fresh salmon"don't go in the same sentence. There is no fresh salmon with 1000 miles of here.Better of with Carne Asada. The tequila selection was outstanding. The fireside dining area was very pleasant. The staff was hospitable.”
“Tasty quesabirrias, 4 for $15. Kinda pricey, but they were filling, and came a with a little soup side. I think I'll try something else next time. If they're just as spendy, I'll stick with Super Taco down the street.”
“Love the Asada tacos, come from Roswell to purchase. Sometimes get 6 boxes. The only thing is that the green sauce is highly coveted. I ask for it and get one, seriously!”
“We joined our daughter and her family for a late lunch on a Saturday. We did not have to wait for a table. Service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Prices are reasonable too! I ordered a combination plate with green chili. The green chili was meaty, and this green enchilada sauce was one of the BEST I have ever had! I also loved their fresh taco that's on the plate. The taco shell was made fresh on the order. If you have not checked this gem out before, I highly recommend it!”
“The food was really good here! I got the combination plate with a cheese enchilada, carne asada gordita, and chicken chalupas. The flavors of everything was awesome. The chips were freshly made and the salsa had a little bite but was so good especially with the meal I got. Check out this place if you are in the area!”
“Small restaurant with a nice menu selection. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. After eating they brought us a sopaipilla for dessert along with honey and caramel….yum! There is a nice memory wall with the story and pictures of the origin of the restaurant. Would definitely go back.”
“This place has been here for a long time. The burritos we got were chile relleno and chicharrón. They were prepared fresh and were good. We only stopped by because our go-to place was closed. I used to be a regular to Burritos Diana when I travel to Albuquerque often.”
“Wonderful dining experience. The employees are great with great attitudes. The following is a humorous review but the employees are solid great people, nothing against them. The FLETC Artesia employees have aprons with a logo very similar to the Chick-Fil-A logo, to remind everyone of the fine dining experience.Review:This outstanding restaurant / dining hall is part of a "members only" known as FLETC; entry is controlled via ID check at the "guard shack" of the FLETC campus. To gain access to this VIP club, one must pass a membership screening, background check, medical and physical exams, and be personally interviewed. Once membership is granted, you can eat here, for FREE.Inside are wonderful options, such as bins of corn dogs and onion rings under heat lamps. One can utilize the many plastic Lubys-style trays and eat unlimited corn dogs. A salad bar exists, often with "fusion" salad dressing in which the Ranch dressing got spilled into the Vinaigrette dressing by some BP trainee who is exhausted from PT earlier that day. Only here is "grilled chicken" performed without a grill. The chicken will be retrieved from a pot of hot water, with perfect grill marks imprinted on it. For those who consider mineral and salt intake important, this is the place to be. Onion rings, bacon slices, french fires, are all on the menu. Crates of bananas will be found (either all green, or all brown) near the cash registers, for those who want their potassium. Please be cognizant of the dining hours, as part of your FLETC club membership, you may be enjoying a club-sponsored fun event that day, such as "range", "PT", or "driving." Some events, such as "range" are so fun that it may finish 15 minutes before closing of the dining hall. PT may begin so early that you must eat breakfast at 6AM. Please note that even though the dining hall lists 6AM as "open", the lady with the key to the front door will not walk to the door until 6:05AM. Also, "pro tip" - check your forks. Many forks are flatter than the butter knifes. When you pull them out of the silverware bins do a "press check" on them. Also, if you (see "range" comment) end up arriving late, plan on eating your pork chops or chicken breast with a soup spoon, all the knives and forks are used up and dirty and thus not available. Do not waste precious time pulling napkins from one-by-one from the dispensers near the tray pickup. Instead, use the napkin dispensers near the cookies and pie area, and use the two-handed method, grab the TOP of the dispenser container, pull it forward, open the dispenser, and grab a stack of napkins for you and your classmates. This two handed drill can be done in 2 seconds, remember smooth is fast.Good luck and thank you to our HEROES who are FLETC members.Dining Menu, public information via public internet: fletc.gov/sites/default/…”
“It's everything you want in an unpretentious Jalisco restaurant. I will say service was a tad slower than I would have preferred, but everyone was pleasant and helpful, the live music was fun (if loud), and the food was great. Try the carnitas.”
“This restaurant is worth stopping at for breakfast lunch or dinner. Wonderful staff that take the time to cook a hearty meal. Need to be patient because the food is cooked fresh and delicious. Had the breakfast burritos and beans/ rice.”
“We order breakfast burritos on workdays. This place is fast and the burritos taste great and are of a good size. We are on our way to work in just a few minutes.”
“We had a meal from here delivered to our hotel room while on vacation. They were on time, hot, fresh, flavorful, correct and decently priced. We will definitely have to visit here again, and I suggest it to anyone that is hungry.”
“We had a long wait for our food, the food was not the best the rice pilaf was not what I expected. The salad bar was good. It was the best part of the meal. This place could do better with this food And Customer ”
“What a fantastic little gem this is. First off our server, Angel, was just delightful. Every staff interaction was really a positive one. We mostly stopped by to try some of their beer (which is delicious by the way) but ended up getting hungry. I ordered the Southwest Quesada and my wife ordered a burger. Both food items were great. I will say my quesadilla was very greasy to the point I had to drain it before I ate it, but once I did it was fantastic. I got the Indian basin wheat, my wife ordered the 57 chevy as reccomended by our server, both were great drinks. One thing that really stuck out was how clean the restaurant was. You didn't even find a spec of dust on the light fixtures. All in all an excellent place to eat, highly reccomend. Also, give that server a raise, she is an excellent representative for this place.”
