“Alma's is homeowned, and the food and service are always excellent. The atmosphere is great, but some may feel crowded. It is ok for seeing hometown people, you know, for sure!Kid-friendliness: Like I said, you need to be open to a friendly, close, dining area and enjoy people.“

“It's everything you want in an unpretentious Jalisco restaurant. I will say service was a tad slower than I would have preferred, but everyone was pleasant and helpful, the live music was fun (if loud), and the food was great. Try the carnitas.“

“I was in Artesia over Easter and looking for a place for lunch. Pecos Diamond Steakhouse was open and very busy. The salad bar was great with a variety of toppings, dressings, soup, and sides. I had the NY strip steak which was perfectly cooked but could have been seasoned a bit more for my taste. The grill gave a nice flavor to a really good cut of meat (hand cut on premises). The service was really friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a holiday, everyone seemed happy to serve their guests. There are limited food options in this small New Mexico town but Pecos is a great option.“

“Wow! This place is amazing. Give yourself time, everything takes time, but SO worth it.I had a Coca-Cola Meatloaf, just fantastic. My wife had a Black&Blue wedge salad with steak. Another friend had the Lamb Shank cooked in Dr. Pepper. We finished with their flan and bananas foster. The bananas foster was prepared table side.“
