Great food, great environment, and great service. The food was excellent, and I would definitely come here again. If you’re driving through Artesia, New Mexico, this is definitely a place you’ll want to stop and eat!

We were looking for good Mexican food and we found it. The service was very good and friendly. The food came out promptly and hot. I had a pork cooked in red chili that was delicious. It was called Asado. My wife had adovada tacos. It was also very good.

More mexwashed than Mexican. The salsa had a lot of red tomatoes and I've never had such salsa in a Mexican restaurant. the asado didn't taste anything like asado and it was bland. Also, no Mexican dish with the name Mexican Breakfast is gonna have hashbrowns because they don't exist in Mexico.

Placed a to go order today that included the steak finger platter. When we got home, we didn’t get our side salad or the okra. And steak fingers were horribly tough and very hard to chew. Food here is usually very good. Today was a big disappointment!

So disappointed! I was staying in Artesia with my family and wanted to stop by as the reviews were very positive. Arrived at 7:14 on a Tuesday night, and they were closed! Another vehicle with a couple pulled in right behind me and had the same reaction. I understand closing early, especially on slow evenings, but an hour early?!
There was a variety of food to choose from. The carne asada tacos were delicious. The waitress was very attentive to our needs.

Went because we'd been told the food was great. Well it was far from even ok. My daughter sent her relleno burrito back because they brought her a burnt one. My taco meat (steak) was dry and charred. The service was sub par. Had to ask for refills and she barely came to check on us at all had to wave her down to send back the burrito. The table they sat us at was wet because the air conditioning ducts above were dripping, not just on the edge of the table but on us and our food. Just awful. Will definitely never go back or recomend.
