More mexwashed than Mexican. The salsa had a lot of red tomatoes and I've never had such salsa in a Mexican restaurant. the asado didn't taste anything like asado and it was bland. Also, no Mexican dish with the name Mexican Breakfast is gonna have hashbrowns because they don't exist in Mexico.
So disappointed! I was staying in Artesia with my family and wanted to stop by as the reviews were very positive. Arrived at 7:14 on a Tuesday night, and they were closed! Another vehicle with a couple pulled in right behind me and had the same reaction. I understand closing early, especially on slow evenings, but an hour early?!
By far best Mexican restaurant in town and at a great price. The food is always on point and the owner always has a smile on her face. I don’t eat out much but when I do this is my spot!!
