Our waitress was working her tail off and still stayed super sweet and patient. The food didn’t disappoint. It was just different than what I’m used to, being from Arkansas! Definitely will be back!
It was a good experience. I ordered the Mexican combo with a veggie taco and spinach-and-cheese enchiladas. They didn’t have vegetarian beans (without chicken broth), which was a bit disappointing, but the ambiance made up for it. The servers were very kind and warm, and their in-house guacamole is a must-try.
IkIt has been over 45. years since I ate at LaFonda. I was with Lakeview Christian Home Carlsbad to eat Mexican food and it was Great. I would recommend it to everyone.
